If both the Pistons deals happened, this should to. Ill say it again, Im not vetoing this because of the value in the trade, Im vetoing it because its a deal made out of spite. To me its more then just 1 trade, its multiple GMs jumping to judgemnt on rash thoughts of frustration. Its more then one trade, its a level of frustration that Id like to stop now.

Maybe I did make the wrong choice here, but my reasoning is sound and will not change. I feel as though Pig is frustrated, and is about to try and go into total rebuild because of it. I think he rushed into this deal, when in fact other deals may be out there. I am very comfortable with vetoing this trade right now, and putting a hold on it until I feel as though Pig is doing this trade because he gets good value, and not because hes frustrated. If I ever feel as though someone is trading out of spite, Ill step in. Tensions run very high in this league and its important that people know Ill continue to try and step in and control them when I can. ok. i've pretty much said my peace and i'm going to be as rational as possible for somebody in this situation... it's frustrating but it is what it is. It is frustrating. I understand that. I also want you to realize Ive been running this league for like 5 years and there are certain times when I need to step in and stop things from happening. I snese alot of frustration, and that I can accept, but I cant let teams make bad trades based on that frustration.

I understand that but I don't think that should've started now. It should've started with the Webber deal. As for frustration, well, of course we are. People have this sick desire to send one team a bunch of great pieces. People will always have some sort of frustration though.

Its unfair to duce in many aspects. Its unfair to me that youd make this bad of a deal because your frustrated. Its unfair to me that even after such a bad trade by CC, I go out and say that GMs need to take more responsibility for the league as a whole and Habes turns around and deals AI to Reilly. In the end most GMs will do what they feel is right, and in this case Im doing what I feel is right. I need to worry about the elague as a whole, not the happiness of 1 or 2 GMs.

Well if the trade ends up going through in 24 hours fine. If Miller gets traded to another team instead I'll be on the picket lines with you duce.

Spence I m not going to accept another deal. GM's may disagree with me, you may not like me, you may despise me but I will always hold some level of integrity and when I say deal, it is a deal so your wasting everyone's time here when you giving this 24 hour block. I wont and will not accept another deal, when I say deal I will live up to it, let me worry about the consequences this is my team not yours.

People have this sick desire to send one team a bunch of great pieces. People will always have some sort of frustration though. Honestly I was hoping that me making a big deal of that trade would prevent teams from doing something similar. I ripped CC for that deal, as did many others. I let it go through because I wanted it to read as a message to GMs that they should have a responsibility to the league as well as their team. Unfortunately Habes did what he felt was best for his team without much regard to anything else. Once again, if this trade is still on the table tomorrow Ill probably process it I just want GMs to know that Im not gonna stand for people just trading out of spite. Its really not something I want to be a part of.

GM's still respected me (some) and trusted me when I quit the league, if I took advantage of your offer I would lose both things and those aspects are more important to me then a bad deal on many levels.

this trade is pretty bad too but I dont think its near the level of the Orlando-Detroit deal. Not to discriminate against Aaron here...but I think this deal is a little better because he does get NO pick which should be good but the pacers pick is going to be horrible....BJ Armstrong is hardly to Dre Miller's caliber, I think if you had to rate the last 3 controversial trades its:
1- Suns-Pistons (barely beats out #2) 2- Magic-Pistons 3- Pacers-Sonics
This is a bad deal but I think Pig is realizing he cant win with this team, and hes just breaking it up...Hes already dealt Nash, JO, Dre now, Fortson is next...so I say this one should be ok but the others shouldnt have gone through..thats my take anyway...spencer u know u the man on these things...

I made this decision partly on me thinking you traded Miller too soon and youd regret it. And for the record, you did deal him to soon, and you will regret it.

Again, this deal wasnt vetoed because of the fairness of the deal, instead it was vetoed on the lack of integrity of the process. It was made out of anger, frustration and spite. I was trying to save Pig some future frustrations and also show the league that you cant just do whatever you want. But apparently you can, because Im not gonna argue with every other GM about my beliefs and how you should hold a responsibility to the sim when it seems like few agree with those sentiments.

Does Dre have 100 real potential still or something? C+ C+ A- A- is good but not great.

Not a good deal for Miller but definitely not veto material. Vetoes should happen in cases of extreme rapage in the case of the Pistons deal for Webber. Pig wants to do the deal while CC didnt even bother to respond after the extreme criticism. At least not that i can remember. You can't be zig zagging on how your going to rule Spence. No offense but i always felt your a bit too lenient which is why people try to get away with more stuff. Cant blame em though. Just keep a clear stance on things so we know what to expect.

i'm beginning to think this deal wasn't vetoed for lack of fairness but rather because it was made out of spite.
