If he stays, the Contract Year cannot stay, and the Direction board is pointless.

I liked Manas and I thought he should have stayed and I love Lums too but still what's the point of having rules? We're going to let the guys we like slide and the people we don't get the boot? That's ridiculous, Lumley doesn't have to go anywhere he can always be an Asst and like Spence said he will always be getting a 2nd chance.

Im reluctant to let anyone stay who couldnt live up to the rules of the league. Hes a special ase, for sure, but he is blaming his bad run a couple sims ago when he should balme the last couple years when hes sucked ass. Also making deals like the Solomon Jones deal makes me feel as though maybe Lums needs a little break to kinda get reinvigorated. He does far too many deals to "be a good guy". Well we dont need that, we just need him to do his best.

I shouldn't be giving any opinion on this really because I #2 I think on the list of the next GMs but with that being said, I think Lumley can really benefit with being an Asst GM on a good/decent team.
It has really helped me out alot just being hernando's Asst. It's really helped me improve with thinking straight and getting the most out of deals. Not just going for the first thing that comes around. I don't know if I've been much help with Hernando, but I think I've done a nice job as his Asst maybe he can agree.

Chris has definitely been an asset... besides pissing Spence off, he has pretty much been running my DC, and is always looking for deals to improve the team.

Rules are rules, i like lumley alot and would like to see him stay as an asst. but he has to be fired in the end. It sucks but what can you do, you fired d2a and manas from this, now lums. he will get a job soon i bet and at least he can stay in the league. he can be my asst for all i care.

Why is there no mention of Ducky for the contract year?
He is in his contract year 2 seasons ago and makes it by the skin of his teeth with 40 wins.
He gets 46 wins the following year and does nothing in the offseason to improve his team and due to neglect wins 43 this season in the weak west

43 the next...also he did nothing to secure himself Josh Smith. He should have actively been pursuing expirings to resign smith now he won't. He only has 8 mil to spend on Smith or else he will be in the hard cap thats his franchise player way to go Ducky you're fucky

Hasn't he been away for a while or something?
Still, he did what was necessary. He can't be fired but he could put himself in a position to be there again.

Denver made the WCF finals too, no? I think that counts for something, I'm not calling it a big accomplishment but it should count for something.

He was in his contract year, and succeeded. I dont see why hed go back into his contract year after 3 consecutive 40+ win seasons. That makes no sense Dave.

He did make it to the conference finals(46 win season) and followed it up by digressing to a 43 win team. The problem lied with his moves to his team and he was active when a gun was to his head and after he fell back to where he was which is the point I am trying to make. He is a new era D2A with more post padding.
His team is fucked now he is in the hard cap.
