I had a sick team. I had run the table in the Midwest for about the last 5-6 seasons and Galo had been on my heels for some of those. I was still in a great position. I had Ron Steele/Darius Washington/Martell Webster/Lasalle Thompson/James Donaldson with Craig Ehlo and Shannon Brown being awesome guys off the bench. I really loved that team, but I agree with Spencer that we have a much better league here now.

My one-time trio of Lebron, OJ, and Martell may have been one of, if not the best trio, to be in BBS. I charted their games for the last 30 games of the first year I traded for them. And I think they combined to average like 83 ppg for me.

I had Larry Bird, a young stud Rod Strickland.

Yup everyone was likely to win 60 games for 10+ seasons.

anyone that thinks they were touching my team is ridiculous.
that first team is the greatest sim team i have ever seen. magic/mj/barkley/oden/dream - and my bench was ridiculous - 70+ wins
then in '25 in that sick '96 draft, i had at least 20-25 picks before we cancelled the league.
things might've been up for grabs in '21-'24, but after that it would've been tough to beat that team

DJ and I were in the East, we would have battled. He had the 2021 draft I had the 2024 draft. Sorry, the other stuff wasn't going to cut it. Then Seattle would have won every Finals.

Don't get ahead of yourself, Reilly. Martinez had LJ, Mutombo and Brandon!

Yea, Aaron's team was untouchable and was going to be. I remember when we all had a glimmer of hope when Jordan was a rookie and Aaron was about to start his dominance. But I'm thinking he won anyways that year. My goal each year was to win the West and move to the Western finals. If I somehow had been able to take down Seattle in a series (would have to be 7 games), it would have probably been a miracle. I'm thinking that Aaron actually swept an entire playoffs one year, right?

it's funny thinking back to some of those trades that happened in the old bbs.
oden for james worthy and scott skiles. this happened after everyone was offering their entire team for oden.
ben wallace and a good guard (can't remember the name) for dirk and tmac. i thought spence was going to kill me after that one.
i have to say, bbs gms are so much better in this league. you rarely see any bad trades, there are reasons behind most moves.

Oh shit, the second was with that old Hawks GM whose profile Mark and I used to make fun of. He used to IM me 24/7, worse than Lums (no offense, I love your IMs.) You also got Shaq and Larry Nance off me my first night in BBS, dickhead.

Something about one of the Yankees teams. "There is no trying. Only doing or not doing" Something like that.
