WHAT YOU ALL HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! T.J. Ford 5-11 165 Texas C C B+ C+ D A As pure of a passing PG as you can get, there is no other way to put it. His shot and overall offensive game needs a lot of work but his passing and leadership is unmatched by any player that has come into the draft for several years. He is smaller than you would like but he is cat quick and has the heart of a lion. Should be an awesome building block for any team that gets him, they just have to hope they can keep him in one piece though.

you know what would also be cool, a player comparison. like...
NBA Comparison: Ron Artest(random but whatever). but i'm not tryna dump a workload here...

TJ isn't at kidd's level but he'll be a solid contributor at the 1 in the bbs.

he reminds me more of Jason Kidd Maybe passing ability but they are two totally different players. Kidd is a bigger guard who can post up and he is known for his exceptional rebounding ability. Kidd is a triple double machine and Ford will really struggle rebounding due to his size, or lack there of. Kidd also has a decent three point stroke and can post other guards up but Ford has none of that.

Ehhh.............I will probably start adding NBA comps soon but probably not BBS comps. I have been around all of what, three or four days. The BBS comps and more overall talk of the prospect should be done by the league as a whole.

NBA Comp.
Brevin Knight
Ford and Knight have very similar frames being both under six feet tall and about 170 pounds. Both players have very good handles but lack offense but their play making ability makes up for that in a sense. Knight is a tremendous defender but Ford has a ways to go to become a defender like Knight.

We could definately use about 4-5 starting quality PGs. Brbosa will be in this draft too, and hell be a goody.

Thing is TJ suffered a huge injury his rookie season, I think he would score a good amount with out that injury, And I don't like the DeMarr Johnsons and Jay Williams who came out in the drafts highly touted and because of injuries they have struggled, their ratings reflect what they are after injury, I think it would be intrested that they got some great potetnial and not some no one like Melvin Levitt

There will always be surprises and busts. Thats just they way it is. Another reason why building through the draft is a mistake. Its very uncertain. Its much better to trade for established guys.
