Thing is TJ suffered a huge injury his rookie season, I think he would score a good amount with out that injury, And I don't like the DeMarr Johnsons and Jay Williams who came out in the drafts highly touted and because of injuries they have struggled, their ratings reflect what they are after injury, I think it would be intrested that they got some great potetnial and not some no one like Melvin Levitt Somewhat true but T.J. Ford never was and probably will never be a great or even good shooter. The injury really has nothing to do with it because his game is not to score points. It was known that he would never score a lot and most thought he MIGHT top out at about 15 PPG. His offense comes from driving to the basket which is also difficult for him because of his size.

I agree, Ford was never gonna be a great scorer. Hes a distributor. Thats it.

There will always be surprises and busts. Thats just they way it is. Another reason why building through the draft is a mistake. Its very uncertain. Its much better to trade for established guys. I couldn't agree more spence, the draft in some cases is a crap shoot.

Im trying to make players similar to what they are in the NBA, but I want this to be fun. I want certain players to bust, I want other to boom.

Yea, I mean like Kenyon Martin could be a star in a sim and he was showing signs of being that early in his NBA career but injuries has never allowed him to become that. The same could be said about possibly Okafor yet he will probably be a very good player in the sim.

Tj Ford has a mid range jump shot. He doesn't have a 3pt shot. He also has some sick hops. He's what, 5'10 and can dunk pretty easily. Definitely has good passing ability for a youngster. He's also a better rebounder than you'd think due to his hops/quickness.

The league needs about 5-8 starting caliber point guards. This class could give us at last 3. Rindour, Hinrich and Ford. Its odd because I feel like most leagues have an abundance of super PGs.
