When I was real little, whenever I would drive past Ocean County College on the way to Aarons house, my parents would tell me that the college is underwater, because of the big monument they have in that lake.

Skillz, where are you looking? You're a junior in HS right? Yea, right now i'm looking at BU, NYU, and Ithaca. I'm also applying to Dartmouth just because my dad, sister, and grandpa went there which raises my chances from 0% I have a 3.62 cumulative GPA from fresh/sophmore years and have a 3.81 so far this year. I take 1 AP class, 2 honors, and 1A class (Classes go ap, honors, a, b, c) I've been on varsity tennis since freshman year and also write casually for the school newspaper and announce girls and boys varsity basketball and football on ocasion Staples is one of the best public schools in the country as it's between 50-100 i believe. Around the 400th best public or private school in the country as well I was reading the other thread and it looked like some gpa's were calculated differently Ours is: A+--4.33 A--4.0 A---3.67 B+--3.33 B--3.0 etc. (If you're in an AP or honors class, your gpa is raised .33...EX: If you get an A- in an honors class, it counts as a 4.0 towards your academic gpa)

Most people applying to these schools will have the same criteria as you however and what it will come down to is who is a better bullshit artist.

Holy fuck, one Honors/AP adds .33 to your GPA?!? Jesus! You just multiply ours by 1 + .02(each Honors/AP).

I actually work at Dartmouth's big medical center, but I'm an employee of the College technically. The hospital's only like 2 miles from campus. I work in one of the research facilities. Just office work, help with financial stuff, bookkeeping type stuff. Occasionally some other administrative duties. Nothing special, just pays the bills. Coaching baseball is the job i actually enjoy. But the pay isn't that good, since I only get paid 12 weeks a year.

Holy fuck, one Honors/AP adds .33 to your GPA?!? Jesus! You just multiply ours by 1 + .02(each Honors/AP). For that class. For example, if you get a B+ in an AP class, it counts as an A- in a normal "A" level class so it raises you gpa around .04 points
