Pretty crazy, where does he end up?

He'll end up with the Cubs or Angels IMO.
You can cross off about 26 teams immediately, and leave...
Boston Red Sox Los Angeles Angels Los Angeles Dodgers Chicago Cubs
The Sox won't pay him what he wants, and I doubt the Dodgers pony up that kind of money either, so it'll be Chicago or LAA.

I think it goes angels, cubs, yankees, dodgers, mets... i dont think the sox will be able to pay him anything close to what he can get from other teams cause their payroll is already very high.

My best friend in Houtson goes to Andy's church. When he left Houston to go back to NY he told his church that Joe Torre told him that He (Joe) needed him in NY (on a spiritual aspect). Be interesting too see if he stays with Torre out. I know he was talking retirement if he stayed in Houston and going on a farewell tour with Biggio but something Joe told him made him go back.

This is pathetic on ARod's part. He has his mind in his wallet, as if he needs that much fucking money. His enormous ego is his downfall, but good. He's so insecure, it's unbecoming. He can go do whatever he wants with the Angels, but New York was the test of his legacy and this is the outcome. Four disappointing postseasons, ZERO leadership, and he bails because they didn't offer him the 8 year, 30 million dollar deal his ego needs. Pathetic. I will root against him as much as I will root for the Yankees. If he comes back, it's embarrassing on behalf of the Yankees, and I won't root for him. If he goes, it's no surprise. He's scum and he's not winning any fans with his arrogance and his greed. Fuck him.

"Jeter's been blessed with great talent around him," Alex says. "He's never had to lead. He can just go and play and have fun. And he hits second--that's totally different than third and fourth in a lineup. You go into New York, you wanna stop Bernie and O'Neill. You never say, Don't let Derek beat you. He's never your concern."
PK just reminded me of this. Good riddance. Nobody in the game has his ego, nobody in the game will have his salary...but hundreds have the WS ring, and when he came to New York he said he was here to win.

Just so fucking pathetic. He's the opposite of a leader. His presence could entice guys to sign and re-sign, could keep Abreu around, and instead he leaves the franchise in disarray. He's so fragile that he lets Boras pad his ego until he buys into everything and fixates on getting landmark deals.

Duh, of course he said that if he said otherwise that would be inviting A-Rod to opt out knowing the Yankees would ante up. Lets remember the Yanks paid 25 mil this season for Clemens which is about 1/2 of the total salary of the entire Devil Rays...anything is possible with the Yanks.
