Colts started out bad vs the Broncos today but picked it up for the W. Sucks though, Harrison, Morris, and Addai all got injured. I think they might miss a week or so but from the way it sounds nothing to major that will keep any of them out for a very long time.
Dallas Clark is a beast. Such a big part of the Colts team.
The Chargers and Bears suck this year. The Chargers look stupid for firing Marty. The Bears have a lot of injuries and really miss Tommis Jones. I think that they miss TJ on offense more than anything. If they him still I think he would make Grossman/Greasie be just fine, take a lot of pressure off of them.
What the hell is wrong with Green Bay? How are they 4-0? Hopefully if this is Farve's last year they can keep the wins coming and he can end his career in the post season, that would be nice to see.
Happy to see Daunte Culpepper coming back from his injury. Leading the Raiders to a 2-2 record and beating the Dolphins today.

I'm doubting this will be Favre's last year unless they win the Superbowl since GB is the leagues youngest team

The Packers did win their last 4 games last year to just miss the playoffs on a tiebreaker... the run defense got a lot better (though it was terrible today) when they benched KGB for Cullen Jenkins at DE. KGB now just plays on passing downs which makes him much more affective (3.5 sacks already this year but he has had a lot more pressures). Not to mention having 2 competent safties instead of just one and the entire young defensive core coming togethor and really turning it up in the 4th quarter every game. Throw in Greg Jennings and James Jones being 2 great college WR that weren't drafted high because of their small schools looking like future pro bowlers + Bubba Franks and Donald Lee actually doing something at TE. The Packers are a legit contender for the NFC Crown.

The Eagles showing tonight was flat-out pathetic. McNabb got sacked 12 times, including 6 by Osi Umenyiora...absolutely embarassing.

You need a game breaker to defeat a pass rush when they're playing at that level.
Westbrook was out so.... Why they were not running the ball all day is beyond me. Bad coaching... no, terrible coaching. And I hate saying that because those guys are professionals but something about Andy Reid and his lack of care for the run game gets on my nerves. Forget about the fact that it would be a good plan, not doing it could have very well took McNabb out for another season. I'm very upset and I honestly don't blame the players.

No quick outlet for McNabb, so he had stay in the pocket and wait for his receivers to get open. Osi's a beast... he has amazing burst off the line.

The Eagles have exceptional run blockers. Why bother signing and drafting top level big, strong, run blockers if you don't plan to run the ball a lot? Why not use what is obviously the strength of your team and then play off of that?
I'm sorry, I hardly ever take shots at any Eagles on message boards but I'm pretty heated after watching that game.

miami sucks i hate to say that....
if we had a run defense we would be 3-1 right now....
time to start beck... and start running alot more...ronnie finally looks like that number 2 pick we drafed...raiders have a pretty solid run D and he ran all over them...
time for cam start playing teddy ginn...let the kid make some plays...start jason allen too i am sick of seeing these old vets like will allen on the field...not going anywhere...lets get a top 5 pick and trade it for a 1st and a 2nd and 4th and draft all D Players....
Oh and Joey Porter sucks balls wat a bad signing
I wonder if Marino wants to come back to try and break Farve's record...Our Oline is playing pretty decent

On the Eagles real quick. I'm a Dallas fan so I watch them when I get a chance to root against them. This is my take. I think Reid is a pretty good coach at preparing teams to play.
However,he seems either too slow or too hardheaded to adjust in game. It was obvious from the beginning that Justice was going to have pass blocking problems. Why did'nt he make adjustments at halftime if not sooner? When things dont seem to be working for the Eagles he does'nt seem real good at adjusting in not just this game but others I've watched also.
And he does abandon the run way too fast. The Giants stuck with the run last nite and I can guarantee just from watching the Giants RB that Buckhalter is much better. The Giants RB has no and I mean no busrt into the hole at all. Their starting RB is out for the season also, I think Jacobs was his name. But you still have to try and stick with the run. Reid is too pass happy. Just not sure if you can win a title doing that.
On a side McNabb doesnt look like he has the same burst either so he cant bail his lineman out like he used too.

i agree with everything.
that giants RB ward is playing by the way, because he has pass blocking skills, and droughns does not. it's a huge deal for NY because they want explosive pass plays, they want the ball to go to plaxico.
anyhow, yeah reid doesn't adjust(maybe he needs a halftime spy cam) so great. nobody is perfect, i can sort of live with it. i never actually minded his lack of commitment to the run game when we had terrell owens or westbrook was healthy. but if you don't have a gamebreaking receiver, and you have the personnel to run right over the other team, there's no excuse not to use it. buckhalter as well as hunt should have been more involved, that was the way to open up the passing game. run.
i'm not upset that the team is 1-3. but when you look at all 3 losses, just sorta looks like the coaching is the worst i've seen from this team in many years.

I'm right there with ya, that was one of the most embarrassing games I've ever witnessed. Odd. I enjoyed watching the game. Half way through, I made some popcorn and shut off the CPU monitor just so the game could get my full attention.

Oh by the way. How about the great Reggie Bush? Think we have a guy thats very overated there it's looking like. He doesnt like getting hit it doesnt look like and cant just outrun everyone in NFL like he did in college.
Starting to look like there was a reason Carroll was playing him part time.

i'm still gonna be bold and say bush will be an elite player in the league. nobody will agree but i don't care. nobody wanted to give westbrook a chance either but it just takes some time for small backs. portis wasn't always physical either. right now bush is a change-of-pace type and a heck of a receiver, not too far from what westbrook was at this stage. when bush develops i fully expect him to be the most dangerous player there is. *prepares for somebody to blast me*

Westbrook and Portis werent top 5 picks either though. He has his moments now, but with the 2nd pick in the draft I want a guy who is gonna be more than a change of pace type back who has his moments. Thats pretty much all I'm saying. With top 5 pick guy I want an Earl Campbell,Barry Sanders,LT kinda guy you know.

He's a second year player with probably the best set of skills in the NFL. He isn't ready to take hits, but that doesn't mean he can't break tackles. He just has his own style because it's always been good enough to dominate. Now it isn't. He's WAY too talented for that to be his downfall. He'll be a touchdown machine, even if he isn't an every down back. He's got ridiculous talent. If he needs to be catching passes, so be it, but it's such a joke to write him off. He was amazing last December, even carrying the ball. He's going to be a superstar and he won't need to get there by being an every down ball-carrier. There's a lot of value in being a multi-purpose player.

If anyone expected Bush to be a top 10 RB talent THIS season, you were nuts. Reggie Bush was an excellent #3 RB choice and at best a late #2 RB pick-up.
He is not ready to be the main focus of the running game, which is why losing Deuce actually hurts Bush not benefits him.
With that being said, I agree, Bush will be one of the best RBs in the league by next year as this season will be a huge learning experience for him and I can't see Deuce coming back from two blown knees.

The problem with Bush is that he doesn't hit the hole hard, instead he dances around in the backfield looking for the big play.
I think he'll be very good one day, just not LT or Barry Sanders good.
