Awesome game so far. Golden State is controlling the tempo, especially here in the 3rd quarter. But the Jazz seem really comfortable playing at this pace. Any other thoughts?

Utah is solid. If they had a decent SG, they would be super duper.

Utah is gonna be tough. Warriors couldve easily won this I think, which is promising. I really thought the Jazz big guys would gie them more problems. They were outrebounded big time, but to really just barely win at home I think it gives the Warrior a ton of hope for future games.

maybe. it might be like the houston/utah series with homecourt being huge... golden state is awfully hard to to beat in their own arena.
the warriors will have to figure out a way to take either game 5 or 7 to have a chance, if that's the case, obviously.

If they had stolen gm 2, they would have been in good shape, and I think they would have won the series.

It looks like they shot their wad in Dallas series, which I kinda figured would happen. They're still playing hard but I dont think with the same intensity as they did vs Dallas. I think Utah takes one of these in GS and wraps it up in 5. Even with GS playing at home you cant win getting out rebounded by 30.

if they can't win getting out-rebounded, then how did they bring it to OT on the road? i can't say i agree.
i would be a lot more convinced about utah if those games weren't close and the pace wasn't in the warriors' favor. but ya, game 3 is must win obviously and utah has a big advantage... just don't see them as overwhelming here.

Im still not too worried. We need to win our home games and win one there. Still can happen. Also not too dissapointed by either loss as both were close and they couldve easily won wither game. Im going tomorrow night. It should be fun.

Im going tomorrow night. It should be fun. well if i were a gs fan, the gm 2 loss would hurt more since you just didn't finish the job. other than that, they competed well in both games. i think u can win all your home games, but i'm not exactly sold that you'll win one on road. but these 2 teams are very evenly matched. Doesn't matter though, winner of san ant/suns who i think will be suns, goes to finals anyway.

imo spurs losing would really open the field for everyone.
i've seen the jazz and warriors both play the suns and the suns had a lot of trouble. both teams have a strong defensive PG and both have proven to fair well in running-games.
spurs getting by the suns though, would pretty much seal up the west.

i would love to see suns in finals, thats just the kind of tempo i love. i hate detr/spurs tempo. i hate halfcourt play. i love fastbreaking all the time.

one of the best dunks i've seen ever. probably 2nd to VC's dunk on Alonzo Mourning a couple of years ago.

Warriors need to win Sunday, which I think they will. I don't think Utah can beat Golden State in Oakland. But can Golden State beat Utah in Utah? That'll be what decides it.
