Warriors need to win Sunday, which I think they will. I don't think Utah can beat Golden State in Oakland. But can Golden State beat Utah in Utah? That'll be what decides it. couldn't say it better myself. if you guys had stolen that game 2, i think you guys could have wraped the series up in 6. But now its likely to go 7.

if utah was smart they would have signed chris martinez to cover al harrington.(uosl joke)
if it means anything, i think utah is exactly the kind of team that can have a meltdown. even winning the next game would bring great hope since it would be game 6 in GS, etc.

THing is, the Warriors just beat themeselves when they lose. I mean, its tough with the size disadvantages, but if Baron was playing at 100% tonight I have no doubt they woulda won.
Also sucks to see Baron give Fisher a shoulder/head butt at the end.
I didnt mind the JRich foul so much, you dont go for a dunk in the final minute with a 10 point lead. Dumb move by Okur.

Thats BS Spence. If it was 20 yea, but there was like a minute to go at least when he did that. Utah misses a couple of FT's not to mention a turnover and GS converts 3's on other end it's a brand new ballgame. Ten points isnt much at end of NBA game. History will tell you that. If you can read lips you can tell Fisher was telling Richardson take it like a man after he fouled Okur. That was punk ass. If Utah would have fouled the hell out of Davis with a minute to go would you feel the same way? I gotta say I'm rooting against GS now though. Other than the thug elbow by Davis I'm tired of Jackson and Davis to a lesser degree running to the officials after every freaking call against GS.

And no, it isnt BS. You dont go in for a dunk with under a minute left and up by 10 or more. Just a bad idea.

I am bitter yes.
But why can you not dunk with a 10 point lead and a minute to go? Where did this come from?

I just dont think its something a smart player tries. There is no way you should try and take it to the hole with less then a minute left and a 10 point lead. Its just a dumb idea. I dont see how you can watch basketball on a regular basis and not realize how it just isnt a thing to do. Its like trying to steal 2nd with a 5 or more run lead in the 9th. It just shouldnt happen.

Then Im in the minority I guess. Doesnt change how I feel though. I dont see why a player would try and get a dunk at the end of a win. Pretty bad idea.

I guess if you've gave up on the game yea. But a 10 point lead in the NBA with a minute to go isnt insurmountable. I've watched plenty of basketball. I've watched plenty of teams come back from 10 down with a minute to go to. A dunk is a high pct shot. What was he supposed to do let the shot clock run out? I remember the Mavs losing a game once when they had I think an 11 point lead with about 30 seconds left in game. If the Warriors had given up at that point then they deserve to lose the series.Whole lot of teams have dunked at end of games before. If it was a 30 point lead I'd agree. A minute in the NBA though can be an eternity. If you wanna commit a hard foul and make them shoot FT's thats fine. But that was flagrant. Thats chickenshit to me.

Even Okur said he overreacted to the foul after the game. To me, it wasnt a Flagrant 2, he did make a play at the ball, it was just excessively hard. Shouldve been a F1.

Did anyone else see the stuff about Jazz fans using racial slurs during games 1 and 2? Just read that. Kinda lame.

Yea, There's always at least a couple anyway. I would hope it's just a few idiots and not indicative of the State. I've never been there but I've heard stories of it not exactly being receptive to other races. No idea if it's true though. I'd hope not.

He said it was the scariest incident in his life. For me, since Ive had a pretty bad experience with police in California, I just think the police can be pretty fucking scary, lol.

Done. Really sucks to lose all 4 games in the 4th quarter. Just shows how the Warriors need to really get a nice low post player if they plan to compete year in and year out. Cmon KG!

I was in Utah last year and it was a beautiful place. I stayed at the Radisson literally right next to the Delta Center so I was hanging out there outside every night. I got to catch a Jazz game against the Nuggets and it was really cool as people just hang out the DC and actually people left and came right back in the stadium which I thought was pretty nuts considering I have to go through a metal detector for St. John's games. Everyone was really nice there though and very friendly so I am surprised by this story. Although you can't judge a whole by just a part.
