Melo was the instigator IMO. He came over and put his hands around Nate. Nate did raise his fists up, but he didnt swing on anyone until JR jumped him. Melo was the first person, post foul, to put his hands on someone. I think melo will get the biggest suspension from this situation because he was the instigator.

Plus Melo came and pushed Frye out of the way when he was trying to break up the JR/Nate fight then stood over Frye for whatever reason. Plus Melo punched Collins after things started to relax. Melo should get the biggest suspension easily.

Jr got up fast in collins face and nate hopped right in and threw up his fists...all are at fault So you are OKing the fact that JR rushed Nate? My point is not to say Nate was right in what he did. However, JR shouldn't get a free pass. Nate didn't punch him. JR rushed him. If Nate started it then JR just escalated it. if you read any of my posts it would be clear to you I don't ok anything done by anyone in the whole incident. My whole point is just that it wasn't ok for anyone to have done anything...they are all at fault. Yes some more than others but they are all at fault...SIMPLE.

If I was in the stands when they came in I would have stood right in the way and took a few punches and go to the bank with it with a swollen face to match my swollen wallet.
Its funny how Dave doesnt like fighting in the NBA, but on thr BBS boards he is very aggressive. I would have pinned you as a guy who would go for it lol.
The whole thing is ridiculess. If you guys havent noticed or watched the Nuggets of late I have and Karl leaves his guns in the entire game with bigger leads then 20. I was watching them like 2 weeks ago and Melo was in with like 25 seconds left still scoring with like a 19 point lead. I think he is just padding the stats. I for one love to see the stars more even if the score is lopsided. If the year ends and a bunch of teams are tied you go to head to head matchups and so on, so a higher margin win could get you in the playoffs. Fans comes to see the stars play so give it to them. Also with the Nuggets getting suspensions will be great news for the Clippers and Lakers to make it with the extra playoff spot open lol.

You make it seem like nate is the biggest one at fault here, when its clearly a conflict of mardy collins fouling to hard on jr, jr over reacting. Nate robinson defending himself and his teammates. Its a fight guys, this shit happens all the time, and if you were in it, everyone of us would have threw jr smith to the ground because we wont wanna take a fucking hit? does anyone..

Obviously Collins was frustrated with something, his play, the game, the season, the last 4 seasons? You have all these monkeys out on the court who play this game with a gang mentality, thats the sickening part of the NBA. You see these guys all think there still in the hood with there bling, rap commericals all this shit and they think they gotta beat the shit out of someone or that the worlds out to get them. Your an NBA player, you make more money then 95 percent of the United States, try to act like you have some class and that your not completley a gorilla.

If you were to fight/brawl/sucker punch a person at your job for any reason other then the fact of self defense your employment would most likely be terminated. People would not say well if your boy was sucker punched you should have tackled him. Also yes Lums you are right I do like to run my mouth for fun as this is a fun free league. So put this league into perspective to the weight and responsibility of a NBA player.

I was just pointing out how funny it is that you would be the 1st person here to really go after this subject. Would you have felt better if they fought toe to toe. I do agree that they should never fight for stupid shit like that, Collins could have really hurt Smith by not letting go. But he did after the foul was called and I didnt see the point into go into a fight over it. If the players were all pissed about losing then fucking fight back and use the energy to win.
