I cant see them moving Francis or Marbs this year. Maybe next year, but probably only for contracts that are longer. Looks like theyll have to sit on these guys till they expire. Which is pretty sad. Thing is, the Knicks wont consider moving either until Isiah is gone.

I think rebuilding the Knicks at this point is a huge task. I dont watch the Knicks much, but from what Ive heard they have few pieces that are actually building blocks. There are a ton of Knicks fans in this league so id be curious as to who should stay, and who should go. David Lee- absolute beast, very sound player that just has a knack at finding the ball and the basket. Channing Frye- coming out of Arizona the kid knows how to play ball but really isn't being utilized properly in Isiah's offense and looks lost at times Eddie Curry- so he is still overweight but is one of the best back to the basket players in the NBA. Needs to get a fire under his ass at times to rebound the ball but we've all seen him do it so we know he can but consistancy is an issue. Jared Jeffries-at 6'11 he can impose tons of matchup problems as he can play the 2,3,4 spots. huge wingspan and is defensive oriented. other then these 4 everyone else can go. that includes everyones boy nate.

Im hopin that marbury cant take the boos anymore and just opts out of his contract. It seems like wishful thinking. But if you think about it he cam here and was in love because it was his home town now everytime he goes to the line he gets bood every time he steps on the court he gets bood and every time his name is announced in the starting lineupe he gets bood. a man can only take so much. Not a better gift he can give to new york then him just retiring

i've seen balkman up close and personal at some knick practices i been to for work. The guy is super athletic a bigger version of marion but no way near the skill. Very raw and has potential to be a good player but very raw potential.

the problem with nate is like every other point guard on the knicks. I believe woody harrelson said it best likes to look good first play ball 2nd . He has a nact for over dribbling turn the ball over. Granted he is a spark plug but dont see him as a starter better back up pg

knicks could have made a nice pitch to minny to get KG in a knick uniform with penny, davis, and other large expiring contracts but opted to get another combo guard in here that was overpaid, Steve Francis

Nate started all of this last night...i understand that wat mardy did was wrong and jr had all the right to get in his face and say something...for nate to come over and start pushing jr and talk shit to him is wrong...i know he was trying to defend his teammate but there are other ways to go about it....you cant body slam someone on to fans in the 1st and 2nd row...nate needs to grow up and become a man...he looked like a child last night and if i was the owner of the knicks i would feel so embrassed today and i would come out to the public and apologize to everyone...stern needs to come down hard on nate and melo like he did to artest and jackson...what nate did is kinda like wat artest did...nate took jr and threw him into the stands putting the fans in harms way....for guys making millions of dollars to do this is fuckin wrong...that is just teaching kids that fighting is okay if ur defending a team memeber and it isnt...that is all i got to say and that melo is a pussy....

you cant body slam someone on to fans in the 1st and 2nd row Nate body slammed JR because JR rushed Nate. Let's not make it seem like JR was standing around and Nate rushing him.

Im guessing Frye, Robinson, Lee are keepers. But who else? Frye, Nate, QRich, Lee, Balkman, Collins, JC, Curry, Jefferies. Some are keepers for now. Some are keepers for a while. Marbury, Francis, James, Rose need to leave.

I don't see how in gods name the Knicks would've gotten KG.

jr rush nate cause nate was being a punk...nate needs to learn to back off and let mardy and jr and the refs handle it themselves

Collins will never amount to anything besides an avg to below avg backup pg and the only thing he has going on for him is he shares the same birthday as me.

People like Bron and Melo have given props to QRich because of his D. Plus, he's a leader for this young group. As for Collins, i'd rather hold on to him for the rest of his rookie deal then drop him for nothing.

nate can defend himself but the way he did it...you dont throw jr into the stands come on...he needs to use his head...plus jr had ever right to get pissed and he had most of the fault to the fight too but they need to work it out with out fighting....

When you're part of a fight like that, you aren't thinking about how to defend yourself. You just do it. I agree, he shouldn't have thrown JR into the stands but it happened. Honestly, I don't see how he could've defended himself another way considering he's only 5'9' and Smith was standing over him while Nate was bending down.

What else could Robinson do but exactly what he did.

However, JR shouldn't get a free pass. Nate didn't punch him. JR rushed him. If Nate started it then JR just escalated it.
