Pistons deal Jason Richardson, Samuel Dalembert, Darrell Armstrong, Jon Barry, filler to be named, Orl 2003 first
Magic deal Allen Iverson, Portland 02, Seattle 05 firsts, 2 upgrades
Reilly's going to dominate and I know I will be attacked for letting him add this kind of talent. But to be honest, I was having zero fun with my old team, and I saw no future. JRich and Dally are two great pieces, and my 03 means everything to me. Now I get build a team, as opposed to holding out with the team I drafted until we began to age and decline. I have a good core in place and some very nice firsts ahead. Good dealing, Reilly.

This trade is kinda pointless at this time since it wont work until FA.

Thats not the point is it a good deal on paper yeah but Spence made a great point the other day when he said you gotta look out for the league as well as your team. Your team is younger and you got what you wanted but who the hell is going to challenge this team for the next 6 years.

So what's the lineup? Shaq/Webber/AI/Kidd with some shit at SF?
Awesome. Time to tank like there's no tomorrow.

Pistons accept
I love the team I have, great starting five with Joe Johnson coming off the bench. Need to pick up a few free agent pieces and hopefully I'm set.
On another note, if I win one and completely dominate, or two in a row, I will deal off a lot of pieces, like I did in BBS, and make the league competitive again. But who knows, I thought I was going to win last year and lost in the first round.
Habes just wanted to put the trade up now, instead of waiting. I still have to sign some other guys to make it go through, or we have another idea if something happens.

Your team is younger and you got what you wanted but who the hell is going to challenge this team for the next 6 years. Honestly, I want to see what this lineup can do. Each is in their prime and I think it'll be fun to see if they can run off 70. But if they do that, I will deal them off. First, I'm for the league, than my team.

fuck Reilly.. stop all being so annoyed with his deals and just make your team better he is a nasty gm, and he gets what his team needs. i cant stand when people complain about these types of things. he can be defeated

that's what i been tryna say dan, exactly. we can all complain and blame other gm's, or we can give the man his due and try harder to beat him... i choose the ladder.

that still doesn't take away from the fact that you're making an already capable of winning a championship team into a full out dynasty.
Sure you want to re-build, but for what? To lose in the 1st round? 2nd round? Conf finals? If Reilly was in the West, then yeah you'd have atleast a shot in the Finals. Re-Build via a not so-established team. I don't think it's any coincidence that championship caliber teams in the NBA do not make blockbuster trades that make their team even more better. Sure there are so many other factors involved in the NBA, but there's no doubt it's taken into account.
I mean, just like C.C. why not wait until after Free Agency. You could land someone like Al Harrington or something and have a legitimate team... and if you don't then pull off a trade. I could have probably gotten alot less for Marion had I pulled the trigger early, but I waited it out as much as I could and I think I made a good deal.

I hate when one team gets too good, but rememebr Aaron cant even beat the Clippers. it sucks that his team looks so good, but Im still gonna do my best to run a winner out there.
I might DJ it one more year though.....

Thats why I told Aaron to rip me off if need be if he wanted to deal Iverson that bad or someone else for that matter, I think this is the only statement youll ever make Martinez that I will fully agree on.

I think people need to be more responsible for the league as well as their team. I dont know how many times I can say it.
This league will only be as good as its GMs, and when guys continuosly trade stars to one team it makes the league look bad as a whole.

I would love to see Bizzle as a real gm in here because I think him vs Reilly would be one hell of a matchup.
