Nah. I thought about charging like 2 for a raise of 1-10 real potential using a number generator.
I was also considering a once a year increase of 25 to one player. Just as a bonus. Around the AS break Id use a number generator to pick a team. Then a player. That player would get +25 in potential.

back to another serious question I know we limit upgrades to the age of 25 but how about just make it that they can have 3 upgrades in their career
Post by KruPaxson on Jun 2, 2007 1:24:25 GMT -5
you can choose to jump start their career or mold their career or if you choose to do the upgrades later maybe fine tune their career....i think it's an interesting concept

like it. should at least think about extending it to 27 where a lot of primes of careers are near the beginning.

I think this rewards activity again because after a team has become successful the chances that they are still using draft picks decreases which usually hinders chances of having players under the age of 25. Chances are they used their RC's on their starters/studs and maybe a few guys slipped through the cracks and they didn't get a chance to upgrade them before the age of 25 or maybe a player was on a bad team where the coach didn't have upgrades(any player in Minnesota) and when he comes to your team via free agency/trade he can learn from the tutelage(RC camp) of your coaching possibly later in his career. We do see some players in real life benefit from change of scenery and also maybe due to wisdom of being around the block. So I propose this and I think I will make a poll.
