The talent on this team is much better then an 8-29 team. Griffin a 3rd option? Henderson over Diaw in the starting lineup? Maybe it isn't James intention to tank but it sure looks like it.

he's absolutely tanking even admitted to it.
Most teams take 2 seasons to be competitive. This his 3rd year

That is a little weak, James. I don't even care about tanking, but for those that do, they have a case. Your team is not the worst in the league, not even close (win %-wise). But then again, I honestly don't care, and am just procrastinating.

Spence change his lineup. Work your 8th seed magic on em

The Henderson over Diaw thing is a complete joke. There is no justification for that at all. If it was Rubio-Williams-Batum-Koufos-Petro, with no Diaw, that has a little bit of a case. But Henderson is a nothing, and Diaw might not be a superstar, but he's definitely far superior to Henderson.

And how is Griffin an option? Come on, that's terrible. Not only are his ratings terrible, but he doesn't even sim well offensively.

I know that's an easy response but I think it's at least worth attempting to justify, James. Especially when so many people have called it into question.

It's okay, I don't feel like justifying anything to anyone anymore so I'm just going to change my DC now.
Thanks for the concern guys.

i'd like to see a rule implemented which forbids any team from finishing in the bottom 5 more than two years in a row. not lotto, but record. this isn't at james, since i don't know if his team did this, but that'll be another way to boost wins in general.

We already have the contract year. I'm 100% playing within the rules. I'll get another top 5 pick, hopefully a big name FA, potentially trade one of my studs for a superstar and we will be set to go next season. I've had this plan since day 1 of our rebuilding phase and if rules were implemented now to punish me for sticking to it, I'll be rather annoyed.

Obviously he isn't implying that something would be implemented right now. You'd be fine, even if this type of rule was put in.

absolutely, you shouldn't be punished for anything. i'm just speaking more in general, especially since the topic has been brought up.

I'm 100% playing within the rules. This topic wouldn't be here if people didn't think you were playing 100% within the rules.

Wed have even more Gm turnover, something Im a little tired of at this point.

Lots of guys dislike Diaw cause he sims poorly. I don't really see the big deal. I wish GMs would harass GMs that suck without their pick. That'd be nice.

Im kinda disappointed. For a long time I felt as though people would point out those Gms that were bad for the league. Guys that were inactive, or didnt try. And I liked that. It gave those Gms another reason to compete. Now I feel like Gms are singled out because other Gms dont like them. I feel like we lose good guys because a core set of Gms just pick on them. Its kinda lame.

How is someone like Kevin not getting harrrased while someone like James is.
Look at their teams....one's on the road to being awesome, one's on the road to getting their GM fired.

This is kinda my point though. What more can James do? He does some of the best articles, hes extremely active, and hes a damn good GM. I mean, whats the point. I think being upset at him for tanking, when its questionable at best, is just kinda lame.

Kev is a total joke and a lost cause. He wouldn't even notice if anything was said about him, nor could he do anything to fix it. He'd just frantically deal Eric Gordon for a veteran FA and an RC.
