Why did I smile when I saw both NY teams lost? And I meant that as a shot towards my dislike of NY teams...nothing against our 2 current GM's we have.

game 1: we won 7-2. Jason Lane continues to hit well, 2 hits, 2 rbis, a home run and double. Mauer doubled, Guzman gets 2 rbis. Pedro pitches 6, 1 run, 2 walks, 6 ks. Luk comes in relief gives up 1 run 4 ks.Silva comes in for the final inning 2 ks.
game 2: 6-5 we won. Scary game, they scored all 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th one of those new york moments that almost bite us in the ass. Everyone had a hit except for youk who was hot in the series vs the mariners. His defense continues to struggle. Matsui 2 hit, Lane 3 hits, Guzman 3 hits 1 rbi for all of them. Morris hell of a game, do not know why blue cant deal this guy should be picked up. 8.1 innings pitched 2 er runs, 2 walks 8 ks. Got the win. Lukasiewicz gave up 3 runs, such a bitch, Krod came in and strike out the last guy. yee
game 3: Lost 7-6. This time we had 5 runs in the 9th. Jason lane had another home run, Owens hit his first career HR in the 9th inning. Youk had a couple doubles. Johnson was roughed around a bit. Smith pitched 4 solid nnings, silva pitched well too.
game 4: won 6-4. Guzman 4 hits, Harvey 2 hits 1 hr. Mauer, Sori, Owens all had 2 hits. Pedro was roughed around a bit, Powell did a nice job of relief. Krod got the save.
game 5: 14-7. Nice way to finish them off. 18 hits, everyone had at least 1. Guzman 2 hits 1 rbi. Singleton 3 hits, 5 runs. Mauer 3 hits, Sori 2 hits 4 rbis, Matsui 1 hit 4 rbi, 1 hr. youk 2 hits, 2 rbi, 1 hr. Lane 1 hit 2 rbi. Sanchez 3 hits 1 rbi. Owens 1 hit. Morris got bitched around in 2 innings, smith, powell, Munoz pitched solid the rest of the way to finish them off good for them
YEEE what a series. We head to the WS for the first time, should be good. We face the San Fran Giants, going to be tough. Pitching needs to do a lot better this time around. But if we hit like we did this series I like our chances. Should be interesting.

Aaron Cook, career over. I enjoy reaching the World Series, but man that's a hit.

That is rough, is there a way to turn down the frequency of career ending injuries? I believe Cook's injury brings the total to 5.
