- You can low ball guys and it might work but it also might anger the player.
- GMs without the game should consult with their buddy before inquiring about extending a player so that they'll know what the player is thinking and it's not a mystery.
- You can ask about/offer to any 3 expiring contract players each sim, whether they have already been offered to or not, any 3.
- I will give the notes about new players on my own time, but any offers will be made at sim time.
This thread will probably be added to so check back once in a while.
Ask questions here, I can't answer em all but somebody will help if I can not.

I made an offer to Buehrle, Furcal, Cordero... I'm going to counter each one... does that mean for next sim if I still don't like their offer or they don't accept they still count as the 3 i'm allowed for said sim?

i don't quite understand.
you may make 3 actions on any 3 expiring players. it doesn't have to be the same 3 that reply to you. if you want to do furcal, cordero and then start negotiations with player x, that would be just fine. but again i don't understand...

I wanted to extend Furcal, cordero, Buehrle last sim.
I replied with an offer to all 3.
Does that mean I can now NOT offer to extend another 3 players until I wait for all 3 of their responses?

that's exactly what it means. it's time consuming for me enough as it is, so yeah.
however, it's definitely no big deal. there's a sim every 2 days, and you have many, many opportunities to make offers.

Just to make it clear, tonight's sim will be 3 days, and will not include negotiations. The only purpose of the sim is to get to June 1 and allow people to be able to look at rookies in the game.

This coming sim is the last time you can START negotiations.
The sim after will be the last time you can offer a contract. After this sim negotiations will be over with the exception of Roy Halladay(game glitch).

Next sim is the last sim to make offers. You may no longer start negotiation talks with any player, and as usual you can't offer to a player who you haven't started negotiations with.

Should put in a note that extensions can only start at 6/1 out of ease of running the sim each season
