Team Strengths: Great Bullpen Great Closer Good Power Good Speed Good OF arms Good all around Defense
We have some strong outfield arms in Dye, Hunter and Burrell that provide relatively good defense. We have one of the best bullpens in the game and a great young closer to boot. We have guys that can also hit the long ball in Glaus, Burrell, Hunter, Dye, and DaVanon.
Team Weaknesses: Weak Starting Pitching Weak Starting pitching depth Not much of a Contract hitting team Offense can be weak
Our big hitters usually hit for power and that can tend to be a problem when they cannot hit the ball at all. We need to score more runs, get more guys on base with walks and solid hitting. We have really not starting pitching, either to old or just cannot play, its bad.
Franchise player: Troy Glaus. He really only hits for power but he will be that spark for this team and we need him to hit well for us to succeed and score runs. He is 26 years old, plenty of years left and will be the third basemen on this team for a while. He is a great hitter and a good ingredient to this ball club.
Trade Block: We are looking for starting pitching, and we are willing to move Dye or Burrell to get one. None of our prospects are really going anywhere yet so count them out. Guys like Brad Fullmer can go as well or DaVanon.
Team Outlook: It will be tough but I can see us getting the wild card if we can get another solid pitcher in there. It is hard to tell where we will be with the way things went the first sim, but I see a successful year. I love our future the most.
