Another season, another complete collapse during the last month. We showed alot this season of what we are capable of doing. Next year should be better with cano coming up, and also having Matt Holliday and Rich Harden for a full season. Also, Snelling and Terrero are still very young and they are still progressing.

3-4. UGLY sim. Wow texas had our number swept by the rangers. Than 2/3 from the Mariners, and we took the first game vs the As.
We have two more games vs the As than a final series vs the mariners, if we can beat them twice at least everything should be golden.
Hitting was pretty good this sim. Guzman and Kennedy had some good games. Cuddyer a hr, Vlad had a few hrs, two homerun game as well.
Bullpen was absolute shit though. Krod let up 7 runs in the 9th to texas so they could win the game, it is mind boggling. Anyway we are in good shape, just need to keep this winning up, magic number is 4.

If Karp is not on my 25 man roster at the start of the post season, will I still be able to add him to it later in the playoffs?

4-2 sim, our pitching has been very consistent and Preston Wilson being back has been huge...having him out 8 weeks really hurt us.

kind of disappointing, down to a game under .500. i guess if i really wanted to compete i shouldn't have traded zito and harden. but i should be dominant in either 2006 or 2007. as long as all my prospects shape up well. mcpherson already is dominating opposing pitchers, should be rookie of the year next year. right now i just want to finish at .500 for the season. from where i started this year when i took over and after making the worst trade in the history of sports, i would see that as an accomplishment.

If you call up Mac and he doesn't improve his hits, he'll hit like .230 for you, if that. Mauer's ROY, no doubt.

Mauer's ROY, no doubt. oh he'll improve his hits alright. he's already hitting home runs at a pretty good rate. hopefully he'll blossom in spring training and have a dominant year. mauer looks pretty good, i must say. however, we all know home runs are what people love. mcpherson's average may be less than mauer's, and he may not be a top defensive player. but look at my boy ryan braun. absolutely horrid on defense. but he hit tons of homers, and that's what gave him the edge over tulowitski in the minds of voters. but it should be a good race, let's just hope neither busts because they both look pretty good.

Braun also hit like .330, didn't he? Maybe a little less? I'd look it up, but whatever. Unless Mac's hits go up, he'll hit like 80+ points less than that, which won't get him ROY.

yeah braun did have a really good average, would have been near the top of the nl if he would have qualified. so you got me there. i'm just hoping mcpherson's hits and avoiding k's skyrocket during spring training. if he improves a lot over spring training, i think he takes it. if his average does end up being around .230, though, then he doesn't stand a chance.

Hey should we get a GM check in soon? By the looks of the export tracker, Brewers, Orioles, and Royals haven't exported at all.
