4-2 Sim not bad we didn't pick up any games on San Fran but wow we had a great pitching SIM!! Mulder threw a no hitter against the cubs and the very next game our pitching staff in 18 innings did not allow a hit to the Mets. Thats pretty much back to back to back no hitters by our staff ( 9 innings wise). Our pitching has been great only allowing 2 runs in each of the games we lost. Our offense has been struggling especially our lead off man. Figgins is the third guy i have tried there and he has not done anything at the 1 spot. Hopefully we can get everything clicking in time to face the Giants.

2-4, another very dissapointing sim. What else is new??? Where to begin?
My team right now is batting a wonderful total of .241 and my pitching has been incredible. The two games I won this week were 1-0 games. I played two games over 15 innings and lost two more 1 run games. Let's look at who's cold on my team this past sim....
Eric Burntlett: 0-29: Way to get things started lead off man! Richard Hidalgo: 1-24: Great call on my part, promoting you to the #2 spot! Eric Chavez: 0-18: Very noble for a high paid free agent! Lance Berckman: 2-24: Of all people to let my down, why did it have to be you? Adam Everett: 0-12: You suck at hitting anyways John Buck: 1-21: This is the second week you have done this and are a 4 star prospect, what do i care? Huffman: 2-21: Always good to know when your hitting ratings are 6s and 7s Gavin Wright: 0-14: You're the 9th man, you are supposed to do this.
So the best hitter this week was Royce Huffman at 2-21...Congradufuckinglations!!!!
Claim: Carlos Hernandez threw a no hitter. Does that count for something? Anything? Please? I think I'm taking crazy pills.

I think I'm taking crazy pills. Offenses are down around the league. 12 no-hitters in 1 week. You usually see maybe 1 a year. I've never seen this happen. I have Giles at .200 for the month and Gross at .208 for the month - everyone else is below .200 in August. I'm not sure what's up, but pitching sure dominated. You're not alone.

3-4. What a crazy sim. Morris pitched a no hitter vs the red soxs. We score 1 run. Roy smith pitches a great game vs the soxs, we win that one in the 9th. Then it goes to hell. Lost 2-0 to the tribe Pedro pitches a sick game, no hitting Lost 2-1 to the tribe Jason Pitches a great game no support lost 5-1 to the tribe Morris pitched alright, but not good enough would have mattered anyway. Lost 2-1 to the tribe Smith has a good outting no offense WTF?
We beat the royals 1-0 in 16 innings! to finish of the sim, someone finially scores a run in the 16th, pedro pitches another great game but no victory.
Well the pitching was great this sim, i guess for a lot of people, but no offense at all. Really blows. A lot of guys are cold which sucks. We had the lead now we are three games back of the mariners. Hopefully we can get out of this funk we are in and get hot going into the end of the season.

the only possible way to explain that are the league era modifiers...they must have gotten fucked up big time

Hahahahaha, okay thank God. I thought this was just my team getting dominated. I was almost brought to tears seeing my starting lineup tally 6 total hits for an entire week.

haha peter i felt the same way. my hitting was awful this sim, i went a paltry 2-5. i was only 2 games out of the division lead, now im back to 6 whole games out. it was just a bad sim. pitching obviously wasnt horrible, but my players just couldn't put the ball in play. geoff jenkins hit a grand slam. pretty much the highlight of the sim. i guess the low of the sim would be losing in the 18TH INNING on a carlos beltran walk off grand slam with two outs. that and losing 4-0, 2-0, and 1-0. ick.

something odd about alot of things:
did you notice the attendence for each game? Attendance: -25 (0) at Weather: Clear skies (-7 degrees), no wind
from what i am seeing as well there were little or no injuries as well which is very odd for this league.

Yeah very odd. 27 straight innings of not allowing a hit from my pitching staff. Thankfully we have til sunday to try to figure out what is wrong. Hopefully Bob and Josh will be able to find the problem and get this league back to normal. Keep us updated about this stuff if possible

5 and 1 Rhodes was huge as a stopper 6 1/3 innings of shutout ball in 4 games. Woods 10 inning no-hitter were he had to leave the game.

Weird fan interest shot up another 2 points. I wonder if the very low weather caused such bat hitting overall. Hard to sit there and swing below freezing temperatures.
