Decent sim, still stuck at .500. Berckman is on the DL which is rough...

3 strait road wins over Boston and NY. That is at least promising.

Got Drew back. Scoring a ton of runs like always, just need to continue to piece together a staff.

Not that great of a sim for us, but we're still 2 games over .500. Had some nice performances this sim, but the biggest thing for us is to get a pitching staff together, probably for next season. Got a couple young arms that I'm hoping will be up next year.

6-1 With all my pitching injuries there was no way I expected this team to be playing so well.

2-4 sim. We make to many errors and our pitching and hitting comes and goes and random. Very disapointied on the teams performance this year.

An easy way to resy guys is to hav backups at each poistion in your DC. I usually go 8% for each guy on the vs RHP DC. Another way is to platoon, which is something I do with my guys that are poorer vs lefties. And as far as dfense goes, youll be very dissapointed at guys playing out of position. Their range sucks, and they have a ton of errors.

3-4. finished of the dbacks in one game won 1 game out of 4 vs the As. god damn they are good. 1-1 vs texas. Helling had a good game vs texas got us the win. Harang had a couple good outtings didnt get a win in either though, but we won one game. Morris pitched in a battle vs harden we won 1-0, both pitchers pitched complete games.
Harvey had a pretty good week. Guzman as well. Arod and cuddyer are still driving in the runs. We just need a 5th guy in the rotation and we will be set. As well as our bullpen, kind of weak. Scott Schoeneweis is on the DL for 9 weeks. gotta bring up some young relievers, good thing i traded for one.

6-0. Add a couple games to the lead. Ichiro played well in his first sim, pitching finally coming around. Key to my season is the 5 starters. Sheets and Eaton have been throwing well, but Carpenter, Crudale and Fossum are too streaky at this point.

I would recommend people fill out their depth chart as much as possible. You can make them 1% if you don't want them to really play. I remember last season I had Manny and Magglio playing a couple games at SS when Nomar and Walker were both injured. Sanchez was my only assigned backup, so the computer picked the other backup. It happens, and every game matters. Better safe than sorry.

3-3.
Not a sparkling sim, by any stretch of the imagination. But, I did chop the Atlanta lead down to 1/2 game, with a three game sweep of the Braves at RFK Stadium. Unfortunately, after taking care of business against the division leader, I promptly got my ass handed to me by the best team in the National League. If I can somehow grab the series finale next sim, I will be a happy man.
Tony Armas made his return to Washington, and it wasn't pretty. He was much better his 2nd time out, striking out 11 in a loss to St. Louis.
I got a nice boost to my offense with the return of Randy Winn. He had been my best player this season, so getting his speed and overall play back in my lineup will undoubtedly help. He improves not only my run producing, but also my overall outfield defense. It will allow people to get back to their regular positions. Jay Payton also joined the club this sim. Very excited about what he brings to the table.
We've got a VERY KEY month of baseball coming up, as we get division foes New York, Philadelphia, and Atlanta for 15 games leading up to the trading deadline. Now is the time to make my move. It's make or break time for the kids in the Nation's capital.
