1-5, swept by the as and 1/3 from the rangers. I did expect this some what but I saw alot of good things come out of guys. Only problem was are crapy hitting, hopefully it picks up. Cuddyer got off to a good start hitting two homeruns this sim, Singleton is batting 320, and Molina is batting 357. But the rest of the team is so so, salmon has 5 rbis when he came off the bench, i may start him to see how he plays. Good pitching performances from the starters, Morris got the only win in a complete game shutout. Roy Smith has been impressive in both starts, no run support, guy is good. If Harang can go deeper into games he would be really effective, he was alright in his first start. Callaway was solid as well, no wins though. Helling didnt pitch for some reason, morris got two starts. Bullpen is alright, Appier and Sele not liking relief duties, but they will have to deal with it till they leave.
im going to keep things the same, see how they go next sim

4-2....swept the angels and seattle took 2 of 3 from me. my end of rotation guys really got bombed against the mariners, bullpen ate up a lot of innings, actually pitched well for the most part aside from nelson. zito gave me 2 good starts and 2 wins. hudson and harden both pitched well. jason grabowski has been a nice suprise for me in the 1st sim, so thats good to see.

Yuck. Bats were so bad, and Cook got knocked around. Oh well, we'll bounce back. Teixeira went down, which I guess is because I brought him up?

um, it's possible but to be honest i woulda brought him up too. he's major league ready easily so if you kept him down then you wouldn't be trying. maybe others woulda have done it differently, i dunno.

Off to a 2-4 start.
Johan gets roughed up a bit, despite 11 K's in his opener. Tony Armas is flawless, Zach Day and Claudio Vargas are solid, but Tomo Ohko blows up. I don't take much from the first sim of the season. Long way to go.
However, that being said, I am a bit disappointed by the performance of my bullpen. Biddle, Powell, and Eischen, all key cogs to my pen, got rocked. Not pretty. Hopefully, taking Joey out of the closer's role will allow him to get back to a more comfortable role. I was worried about using him there to begin with, and his performance this sim just reaffirmed that belief.
Some key games coming up next sim, as I get three with Florida and four with Atlanta. It is VERY important that I keep pace with the the division favorites if I am going to have any chance at winning the National League East.

I wasn't able to send bizzle my stuff last night because I had a paper and test today, so it left Burrell and Damon in the minors. My favorite part? The Tides are 5-1! Well you didn't have Damon until after the sim, don't really remember about Burrell. Also I'm the one who filled ur majors so if there was anyone good down there who wasn't a prospect, he got called up. Kinda sucks you brought up both the guys I got from the Mets and started their clock. I wasnt gonna have either in the majors just yet because they are both mediocre. Now I have to do things completely different with regards to how I handle them. Yes, it is the end of the world.

well shit, i just didn't know they were prospects. i feel bad cuz i fucked up a lot of stuff already today. but i looked, i saw they were 26 yr old gold stars and that mark hadn't filled his roster. they were the best players he had.

maybe i shoulda not tried to help. i can't say i feel fully responsible to be perfectly honest. it wasn't me that forgot to export or send a PM to export rather.
but whatever, my bad, what can i do to even this out? edit the tract? cash compensation? i dunno anymore.

Mark shouldve exported, it isn't your fault. I thought Mark brought them up, so to me it didn't matter why they were brought up, just sucks they were.
I don't want anything edited or fixed, I just think in the future things like that could be realized, but in this case, when you have to do 5 exports essentially and sim its too much to keep track of. Usually this would affect the team that wasn't active, in this scenario it hurt me.

Ah, ok.
I could make a new rule that says when you trade for minor league players you can make it a stipulation that they don't get brought up for that sim. Obviously it's easy to communicate this request to the GM you're trading with but if it's mentioned in the trade thread then I'll know for sure not to do that.
This is just an unfortunate misunderstanding I guess. Mark never told me to adjust his team and I obviously didn't know... I can't say much else except to apologize.
World's over.

I just assume that if I'm trading for someone they will either not be used the sim before the trade, or there role will be the same. Hopefully others will learn from this experience. It really does change the value of certain players.

Surprising 3-3 Sim....My team is probably the least talented in the Majors.....I do have a very solid bullpen though so hopefully they can keep us in some games.
