Olerud holy shit!
anyway we go 3-3. 1/3 from the phillies 2/3 from the Mets.
First game vs phillies lost in extra innings, K rod must of be over worked, he got hit and let up the run then we lost it, that sucks. Callaway pitched a great game. Next game got smacked around, errors were costly.
Next game everyone was hitting, good stuff. Harang didnt last long but bullpen pulled through.
First game vs mets, few erros, ramon pitched an ok game they just hit the bullpen in the end.
Next game vs mets, guzman hit his second triple in two days, davanon hit his 11th homerun. Callaway got his 7th win.
Last game vs mets Roy smith shut them out, great game. everyone was hitting.
5 guys in double figures with homeruns. Fullmer has been on fire since starting him.
In the minors everything seems to be going well, lots of young studs, hopefull to come up soon.

3-3 sim. Another 500 sim, thats all i can ask for. Webb seems to have put eveyrthing together and has now pitched really well in his last outings. Randy also still is consistent and lead the team in wins ERA and the league in K's. Valverde is struggling but his a young pitcher who just got moved to the starting role so il cutting some slack. Hitters of late have been hott, like luis Gonzalez going 11-26 a 423 avg in his last 7 games. Also in the past 5 games Delluci has been hitting 346 wiht 5hr and Bautista is hitting 417. The past two sims we have been at 500 and thats all i can hope for now while wer still looking to get younger. Bay sucks my ballz btw.

Decent 3-3 sim for us, but we did pull to within a game of the division leading Cards. It's nice to finally see Junior and Boone start to hit the ball well. I'm still trying to get a solid 5th starter. My "best" 4 are solid right now, but that 5th starter has been awful for me. I hate to pull up someone like Chris George or Ryan Madson, but it may need to be done if we continue to stay in this race. I've had some big developments in my minors as of late. Votto last week went up in about 3 hitting categories, and now this week my 2nd round pick (C Javi Herrera) went up in 4 categories and is about the 57th overall prospect.

good sim for us, 5-1. swept atlanta and lost one to washington.
pitching was great for us, both mulder and hudson have picked it up some after slow starts.
garret's pow honors are all deserved, he's starting to kill the ball again after a little slump. leads the league in doubles, triples, total bases, and runs.
also nice to see i'm either 1st or 2nd in all the most important hitting/pitching categories.

2-5 sim. The season is making its way nicely down the drain. Nixon had a great first game with the Sox. We took 2/3 from the Padres but then lost 4 straight. Pitching wasn't there.... again.
One plus side was that we were never shut out and one win we had 6 hrs. Just finding the positives baby!

.... and now I have the #3 and #4 spects in the game.
Add them to Vazquez & Armas and we have a solid future ahead.

5-1 hosting a pair of NL teams. I really think this was one of those stretches where I would have been 2-4 or 1-5 if I didn't trade for Washburn and really strengthen the rotation. The offense had a few poor performances but they did what they needed to. The pitching was just outstanding though, despite some walks. I have to assume the defense was great as well.
