* We will add 1 day to this sim to get to Sept. 1st, so the 40 man rosters can go into effect and the next export will be able to have minor-league callups.
When Bob and I take over, there will be no sim this Tuesday (since there is one Sunday and Monday). Instead Bob and I would use this time to catch up and get our stuff together and we do our first sim Thursday.

I know many people are expressing concern about having 1 less sim per week. However, I think once you see the organization, and stability both Josh and I will bring to the league as Co-Commissioner's, I think you will be happy.
I hope to institute more features each week, such as statistical updates, news articles, and other exciting things that should spark more interest.
This group of owners is some of the more active I have encountered in OOTP play. That bodes well for the future of the league.

I am a little unhappy about less "simmage" but I love the organization. Great job guys, and it feels good to see the league back on track

If you have not checked out the sim schedule above, please do so.
The first sim on the new schedule is THURSDAY (1/10/08).
Get your exports in!

I am also a fan of 4 sims but if things will run smoother and new features will be implemented with 3 sims a week, that's fine with me. As we all saw this past season, organization is much more important than the amount of sims in a week, and hopefully this will boost league interest.
Question: Do all teams have a GM and have all GMs reported in/posted their info?

Question: Do all teams have a GM and have all GMs reported in/posted their info? Still have not heard from Kansas City, Pittsburgh, or Detroit. Pittsburgh posted a trade block, but not in the roll call. Weird.

Made a minor correction to the schedule.
The sim on Sunday will be only 6 days. The reason for this is so that we can process trades 1 final time. If we simmed 7 days (including the 31st) we would not be able to make any more trades and the deadline would already be past.
Sunday will then be the trading deadline - 6pm CST. No trades will be made after that time.
The following sim, on Tuesday will be 1 extra day (9 days total) to get us back on schedule and make up for the short day Sunday.
Wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the change and why it is being done.

Attention...due to the Super Bowl on Sunday, the first round of our playoffs will begin this Saturday, Feb. 2 instead of Sunday Feb 3. If anyone has a problem with that, speak up.

NY vs Boston is great. I know they are the "New England" Pats but its pretty much Boston against New York. Its gonna be sick and boston sucks my balls.
