Line-ups/Pitching Staff/Depth Chart:
It is important that each general manager fill in all 4 starting line-ups. That is; vs. RHP, RHP+DH, LHP, and LHP+DH. Please do not put the same player in one line-up twice. It causes a big glitch in the game and delays the sim.
Each GM will also fill in their pitching rotation. It is highly recommended that you use a 5-man rotation, as well as at least one mop-up LRP in case an injury should happen during the sim.
For the minor leagues, you should fill in everything you can. They do not have to be 100% filled.
It’s important to adjust your depth chart every time you make a personnel change to your major league team. This is where you decide how often your back up positional players will play. It is also where you assign late-inning defensive replacements. Most importantly though, if you don’t set up your backups, injuries could result in players playing way out of position.
The team strategy screen is the section of the game where you decide what your Team Offensive Settings, Team Defensive Settings, and Individual Player Settings should be.
To export your team for the following sim, you simply go to your team in the game, then go to “Team Setup”. The game will then ask you for your team’s password, which you should have. One you’re in there, just click “Export team to FTP”. And that’s it.

Here is a helpful tutorial. It gives you good pointers on how to manage your team.
