It was tough letting go of Cornell, Dickinson, and Wright, but my team was in desperate need of hitting. While Polanco can't play SS as well as Everett, his bat should be a huge improvement over the .238 Everett hit last season. With Pena, I expect some good power numbers and some excellent defense at 1B. His bat should also be an improvement over the awful performance my 1B gave last season.

Pena's bat is pretty big and Polanco always hits the ball. But with Mcpherson and Tejada, Polanco is out a spot. I desperately need starting pitching and it looks like this should help as long as they mature well. I really like Gavin Wright, he can play RF for me until my minors stars are ready.
