Holliday,Smith
for
Karp,Ludwick
I give up the best prospect in the game, but get back what I'd consider a comparable pitcher. Both prospects are MLB ready, and I already had a 3bman in Blalock, so this seemed like a logical deal to do.
Hopefully Karp can solidify himself as a mainstay in Philly, and be a top of the rotation pitcher.
good dealing with you, Texas. Lets keep trying to figure out the 2nd deal...I'm sure we can finalize that also within a day or two.

Good deal for both for sure. Gotta love how active the phillies have been trying to rebuild that team so far

Bud Smith may end up being the key to this deal.
With his talent boost, he could be a steal.
Karp is solid. I worked Greggor over for about week, trying to get the former National farmhand. In the end, Philadelphia just had a little more to offer than I did.
Good Luck to both clubs.
