Agreed. I get a huge bat in Chipper and a 3B to step in for Boone who has been awful this year. The long term plan was to move Kearns to 3B and Wily Mo into the OF spot, but now Chipper will just be my 3B and Kearns in the OF for years. I really love Basham's talent, but he has a 1 in allowing runs, and he's already 24. It's hard to say how he'll turn out, so it made it a bit easier to move him.
Good dealing Chris, good luck.

Just to clarify, you guys have to keep track of that draft pick being owed until this draft is over.

Interesting.
Atlanta leads the NL East, and he unloads two starters.
What gives?

Reds offense looks much better now. Hopefully the combination of Pierre's speed, Jimenez's average, and Griffey/Chipper's run production can give me some more offense. Griffey is just starting to hit the ball better, and I knew that Kearns would be a project as my cleanup hitter, so it's nice to get someone like Chipper who can come in and be that cleanup hitter. Casey, Kearns, and Lopez will be a nice 5-6-7 combo hopefully.
