Could deal Paul and Baker/Tejeda/a 2nd rounder for Dye..I'm not gonna offer one Hermida or Swisher because his ratings don't indicate he can keep this up, but let me know if you like that.

I'll take a look. Really would like to get one of those 2, could add something if needed.....but what about his ratings doesn't add up?

Just doesn't look like he'd continue to produce at that level...how about: Hermida, Baker, Moeller for Mirabelli, Eckstein, Dye?

I could possibly do something like that....but would need a MI back in return to backup..no one special..just a good defender (Lamb?) ....also we'd have to work something out for Mirabelli since I just signed him in FA.
I'm out for a while, but I'll try to get back at you tonight....or if you have other ideas, let me know.

Uhh...when his name came up in the Ichiro deal, there wasn't much debate as to which way he was being dealt....cuz none of the guys you offered would help me like Ichiro.

That is a great example of why I am not a fan of making deals that are post-dated for a few months from now. Too much can happen between now and then. (Yet, I have one in place with Cleveland for Jay Payton. LOL!)
If you can find a better deal, then you take it.
I do, however, feel it's worthwhile for the person trading the player to notify the other team that he has decided to go in another direction. It's just good trading ethics. Animosity can lead to the severing of a relationship between two teams. When that happens, it ruins any possible trade talks in the future. Which isn't exactly ideal when you are trying to improve your team and you can't deal with a certain team because of a "riff" had several months ago.
