I had talked ths over with Duce a while ago and he seemed to be a fan:
We should not give out cash rewards for having all stars. Instead, I propose that for each all star a team has, their fan interest is increased by 1. I think this is more realistic than the current state of affairs.
Thoughts?

bad idea imo...just more work and gimmicks to already a good league

eg: Let's say we have a team with 80 fan interest...they get 5 all-stars a year... In 3 seasons, without spending money on promotions or doing anything, they'll have 95? It needs to be done by winning, not just signing all-star players

then how about we just do one point for any all stars you have. It doesnt matter if you have 5 or 1, just one point. i Dk

Do like If you have 5 all stars your fan increases by 3. If you have two All Stars you get 1, same with one all star. Three all stars and four you get 2.
Something like that could possibly work.

We don't need to make this to easy. So let make it if you get 4 All stars you get 1. How does that sound?

or not at all? or how about decreasing fan interest if you have NO all-stars? needs to work both ways IMO...if you keep rewarding year after year, everyone is going to have 90-100 fan interest and eventually, the revenues are going to catch up and it'll get too far away from the intention of the OOTP engine. Don't mean to sound negative, but I don't think it's a wise idea---I think it's cool, but not wise for the longevity of the league...However, it won't stop me from being active, so I'll go with what everyone votes for anyway

The Yankees GM makes some VERY solid points, and, IMO, they should strongly be considered before making any drastic changes to the All-Star reward process.

After Reading what everyone said I think its best for BBSBL to keep it the way we have it now.

I'm in agreement with Chris. I say stay with the cash idea so that teams can make more money to spend to get better. Too much of an influence on everything to tie All Stars to FI.
