I asked duce and I think I have found what was going bad about the exports. So that should be fixed now. Plus I should have DSL by the end of Friday. I still have big plan for BBSBL and I think they will make BBSBL even better. But if some of you still want me to resign or just don't like how I'm doing something. Go a head and tell me now.

Mike, as I have said in the pm I wrote to you, I love what you are doing and trying to help. I think we all are grateful that you are helping, but it comes to a point in time when you have to wonder if you will ever get these things before its too late. I feel as though the league is slowly fading away with a lot of gms, and If this happens, it could die. That would really suck, I just hope all these issues you mentioned above have been fixed and more, and the sim can run smoothly. If not, I suggest we look for a new commish. No hard feelings, mike.

I'm paying a guy to come out and Fix my DSL just for this reason. I'm having to pay a shit loud to have a guy come out and fix it. I said it would take me some time to see how everthing works. Even Duce said that. But if you guys don't want to give me more time to get this back going that fine. I'll resign and help look for someone to take over BBSBL and my Red Sox. But even Duce told me it took him a season to get use to it.

I say we're all happy you stepped in and took over. We all should have realized that things were going to come up in the switch....I'm here with you until you say you can't do it anymore.

Mike, just be proactive. You can't mess up these things and wait a day to let anyone know what's going on. Otherwise, we'll be patient.

im glad you stepped up mike and i expected a time of adjustment but i also believe this league has faded a bit... im not sure if its because its baseball and not basketball or what but i hope we can keep this league togethor
i think more of a set time on sims and fixing problems as soon as possible would make the sim run with a lot more interest

things have been slow but I for one don't want you to step down. I've got faith that by the end of the season a lot of the issues we've been having will be solved.

Well, things have to change, but that change could just be you figuring out how to do things, which will come with time. I don't think anyone wants to replace you if you think you can get it going and maintain it, but I also think the main thing everyone wants is SOMEONE who can keep it going, provide stability, etc. If that's you, great. I had exam stuff for the past 10 days or so, so I'm not even that aware of what is going on. But my main point would be that we all need to feel like there is a commish, and not just a simmer. And the simmer really needs to know what he's doing, especially since so many of us are new to baseball sims in the first place.

I agree, we want you to stay and we hope that you want to stay. But we want some sort of updates through out the days of what is going on and how you are going to fix something or whatever.
Some leadership is needed in this position, you have to take a stance and go with it, you are the commish you make the choices for the league in most areas.

Mike,
My only complaint, and I have told you this before, is the organization. I really feel like the overall organization and leadership has fallen dramatically since Duce resigned. That could be because he was very organized and on top of things, or it could be because you really haven't made an honest effort to make everyone feel that the league is in good hands.
Please understand that everyone is very grateful that you stepped up and offered to take over the league when we found out that Duce was leaving. I know I speak for everyone when I say we sincerely appreciate the work you do and the effort you put in. Running a league is often a thankless job, and the amount of work it takes to run a successful sim league is often undervalued.
But, that being said, you have really got to keep people informed. I think you and I have a good thing going in terms of getting the sim results up and posted in a neat and orderly fashion. However, as I have said before, there are way to many questions that keep popping up, and I think people are getting the feeling that you are still very lost. We all understand it takes time to get used to the inner-workings of OOTP. How to sim, upload, input information, etc. No one is expecting you to step right in and be fluent with things from Day 1. If you experience a problem, as long as you keep the owners updated what's going on, I think everyone can be understanding and allow you time to fix it.
But, what is happening (and, it does appear to be getting better), is there is glitches and issues with the sims and other things, and then there is no announcement or answers as to what is going on for several days. People just want to feel informed. Details are KEY. When answering questions, be sure and provide detailed answers. The more information you provide up front, the less questions you will have to answer later.
Just my thoughts.
