I have been thinking about this for some time. Doing the Draft like the NFL draft. Where if you don't make your pick in time we move on to the next team and they get to make they pick. But you can make your pick any time after we pass you. Plus if you don't pick at all by the end of the draft I will pick for you and you will get what you get. This way the people who look at the bored everyday gets something out of doing that. But I want to see what everyone things of this before I make it in to a rule.

I'm active, so I'd think I stand to gain from something like this. That being said I'm not for it

This'll just make bad teams worse. If a top team drafts 6 instead of 3 because of this then you may be fucking the team more longterm

I kinda like the idea of this, providing the limit is reasonable and the team who's pick it is gets notification and time starts from there maybe, not when pick is made.

Have a 8-12hr window which should start maybe at a certain time i.e. 11:00am EST to 11:00PM EST etc.

Haha Nanz posted this idea a week ago. I'm for it. It won't make bad teams bad necessarily. Who says the good teams are active? Didn't Bizzle run the A's? Doesn't James (active) run the White Sox? RC's in BBS reward activity, so to some extent, that can be argued that the bad (less active) teams stay down.. but who cares? Be active. Hopefully at some point, this can become a league where if you're not active you're gone.

yeah I agree with mark, if your not active why be apart of the league. You should at least check this once a day if not more...
I like the idea, but as said before their should be a time limit to how long people can pick. First round maybe 8 hour window and the second round 5 or 6 hour window, something like that.

Actually, I like what Aaron proposed a week ago (I think): live draft, send a list. Bam.

Especially, since you were a hair away from quitting, because of inactivity.

Don't understand your post at all.
There is no accusation there whatsoever, unless you are referring to I what said about Bizzle, in which case, that is a fact, and everyone knows it. He does this in every sim. I'm not saying anything about him as a person, but he is horribly inactive. It's why we had to find a replacement in BBS for him.
If anything, your points about me being a hair away from quitting because of inactivity proves my own point. I should have been fired, it shouldn't have been left up to me. That's what I'm talking about. Getting the league to a point where if you're ever as inactive as I was (and to be fair, there were about ten more GMs less active than me, I always picked on time, and just flat out didn't enjoy the league but that's besides the point) you're gone. I wanted the league to be MORE active, which is why I posted that I was going to leave. Really don't see an accusation in there at all, but I'd like to hear where there was one. I didn't touch on calling the White Sox bad by the way, because James has been a friend of mine since we were in middle school and he is pathetic.

I was simply finding the irony in your statements. Good to see you active again.

Or, attempting to find the irony that didn't exist. Regardless, doesn't matter.

Or, attempting to find the irony that didn't exist. Regardless, doesn't matter. Could be, I suppose. The irony is someone so inactive for so long, clamoring about needing to be active. Oh well, no sweat. This is the least of our concerns as the present time.

There is no irony in becoming active and taking (attempting) a position of leadership in an effort to help save the league.
