You'll be able to expand to 40 men on your major league ball club by calling up minor leaguers.
This does not mean you have to. You can stay at 25, go to 32, 35, whatever...
It is very important to note that once you use a minor league player at the major league level, his arbitration years begin. The sooner these start, the sooner you lose having your player around for cheap.
If you make the playoffs, and you have more than 25 men on your roster, the game will not allow me to sim. Therefor it is the responsibility of playoff team's GM to have their roster at 25 players. If you fail to do so, I will send down the player(s) I think should be sent down for you when it is time to sim and though I will do my best, if it is something you do not like that's just unfortunate.

Because I'm not sure how OOTP software works, but in real baseball, if you've never been called up before and are on the team's 40 man roster, you can be called up in September and it doesn't change your 'clock'. You still have your 6 years with the team, September does not count as one. It's as if you're playing on free time. I don't even remember if we have 40 man rosters or anything like that here (because I don't have the software), but if we do, then all of our top prospects on the 40 man roster can be called up this month without any repercussions to their clock.

I know. Spencer told me this is how OOTP 5 works in this situation.

Do we even have 40 man rosters? I don't remember, because Bizzle is my buddy so I don't really check that out.

Or, not be re-building. If only someone would take James Loney off my hands.

bastard...........
honestly the game does nothing more. except i bet you would probably have more exports than usual. you'd be more in control and maybe information would seem more accessible.
