Pretty bad. The worst year so far in this version of BBS.

College starting back up and a lot of the HS guys moving to college had a good deal to do with this probably.

Ill take some of the blame as well. Im usually much better at promoting activity with my posts. My post total was about 200-300 less then normal.

One factor that might have an effect is the hard cap.
Not that the hard cap has been bad, but I have to think about trades a lot harder then I used to. In the old BBS, I'd trade all the time to better my team, and so would a lot of other GMs.
With the new financial restrictions, it's not so anymore. Probably the same for quite a few teams.

This is the least active time of year for any sim league, just because of the nature of the transition. Things get hectic. That leads to less trade talk, fewer blockbuster deals, and generally less posting. It's a natural dip; I don't it reflects the activity or interest level going down at all. It is what it is.

Vacation was the reason for my low post count.

You think the baseball sim took away from any activity? If anything that would increase posts, i believe. But maybe less activity, I don't know. I don't think so... people like the basketball league more imo.

The baseball league wont hurt it, if anything itll help. It draws people to the board twice as much as normal. I think this was a down year is all. I think people got a little frustrated with the idea of the Bulls, Knicks, Pistons and Warrriors running the table. Seeing a team like the Magic wil the title, and a team like the Mavs reach the Conference Finals should show everyone that any team has a shot. Except Memphis.

Me having a job all summer and transferring to a new school definitely decreased my posting, but not as much my activity.

I think I've been pretty active since I got back in terms of trying to better my team, but I'm going to start posting more now that I've settled down. Plus, I'm winning it all this year. Now I need to go read fucking Robinson Crusoe.

While what I think you say true I also think that the hard cap stresses the importance of the draft and balance in between your vets and youth and MLE. It definitely makes the league tougher to stay on top.
