Deron Williams 6-3 210 Illinois Strengths-Deron Williams is a strong, physical point guard with the ability to score inside and out. He is a solid man to man defender, and a very good ball handler and passer. Williams should be a top 5 BBS point guard. Weaknesses-Williams isnt the best scorer right now, but he has the ability to be very good. His 3 point shot is lacking right now, but hes got good form, and should eventually develop into a very balanced scorer. Potential Rookie Ratings.... C+ C+ B B C A

I still can't believe my blazers could have gotten Williams or Paul, but took Webster instead. AH!!!!!

Would be awesome for any team needing a PG. Would work well for any other team as well because you can't go wrong with a stud like him.

I honestly think he's a better PG than Paul now, and he'll probably stay the better player throughout his career

Great PG draft if both he and Paul come out....Something tells me we won't see both in this draft, though.

one of my friends is obsessed with deron so I pretty much hate him because he is the only player he has talked about during the entire playoffs

i feel like paul was better from the get-go because he was more polished. deron really broke out. i think he might have the potential to be better than paul but not yet. paul is doing just as much - and more efficiently - and has much less to work with.
i feel like if paul was on the jazz, he would have 10+ assists per game and still be playing efficiently.
the only reason i give deron a chance is cuz hes bigger.

Deron Williams has looked great at Illinois this year. Most expect him to be selected 1st or 2nd in the 2005 BBS Draft.
