This is a new feature of the BBS and the Direction Board. If you have 4 years of sub 40 win seasons you will enter your contract year. In you contract year you must win 40 games, or make the playoffs. If you do not succeed you will be replaced. I hope that most people can succeed in this, and would return to BBS when an opening comes up.

We need some kind of punishment for losing if were gonna have the direction board. This gives a GM one last shot to prove his worth.
Ill probably also send out poll PMs to see who the next GM in line is.

Winning a championship also gives you a little more leeway. This is just the basis of the idea, each case is individual.

I'm confused is it 4 sub-40 win seasons in a row or throughout your tenure.

Spence maybe just to elaborate on that three 3 seasons below 30 wins must win 40 next season....2 seasons below 20 games must win 35 the next season....something of the sorts

Spence maybe just to elaborate on that three 3 seasons below 30 wins must win 40 next season....2 seasons below 20 games must win 35 the next season....something of the sorts No, it gets too complex. 40 wins is the mark. if you are below 40 for 4 straight years youll be on your "Contract year". In that year you must either win 40, or make the playoffs. depending on how well you do that year, you will either be on another contract year, or you will be exempt that next year. Each case is individual though.
