Since you failed to meet your own expectations, the process speeds up one season and therefore, this is your final ooseason of rebuilding.
Failure to contend for playoffs may result in removal.

i see... i believe missing playoffs by one spot is contending for playoffs just didnt necessarily make it all the way

With the talent you currently have, you should be competitive this upcoming season and therefore, should be contending for a playoff spot. So, like you said, you were close to the playoffs this season...contending for a playoff spot in the next season shouldn't be difficult.

Prime example of why taking a year off for not meeting expectations is absolutely absurd.

No one had been punished. Jordan got a little lucky in getting Bosh, and got even luckier in getting Marbs. He should field a winner. How is that punishment? Doesnt make any sense to me.

I didn't get lucky in getting Bosh I was tied for worst record... you could say I got unlucky by not getting Lebron... I don't mind what is being said because I don't think I will have trouble making playoffs next year with another TC with this team but I just didnt understand why you lose a year for not meeting expectations... also I thought this was aimed more towards stopping tanking but I guess you have to make people make playoffs or else this doesnt have a point really

Question for future reference... Since I didn't know if my team would make playoffs but I felt obligated to label us a contender with the talent I had... should I just say we are rebuilding still until I know I am ready to make playoffs?

When you say, make the playoffs, it implys youll do what it takes to get there. I think you shouldve either tried harder to get in the playoffs, or you shouldve just traded Marbs right away and continued to rebuild.

Milwaukee has three stud players. There is no reason for their team to be mid to high lottery if the GM attempts to win as many games as possible.
Again, you dont have to make the playoffs... its showing improvement and making the effort to get there.
You already have Melo and Bosh, two young franchise type guys... along with an established star. I dont see what the issue is here. You should be a competitive team.

If you somehow managed to only win 25 games next season, then that would be a problem considering the talent you have(assuming your team was relatively healthy).

When you say, make the playoffs, it implys youll do what it takes to get there. I think you shouldve either tried harder to get in the playoffs, or you shouldve just traded Marbs right away and continued to rebuild. i traded picks for 2 or 3 starters... i was in the playoffs about the entire season then knicks had 6 game lead for last spot at deadline so there was no point to try and make a big move for it i dont really care about being punished but i feel like this system has some major flaws
