Ben Gordon 6-3 200 Connecticut
Ben Gordon had a great sophmore year at Connecticut averaging nearly 20 points a game, and leading the Huskies in assists. Gordon earned 2nd Team All Big East honors.
Strengths-Very good shooter and scorer. Can really light it up from the outside. Range out to 25 feet. Solid ball handler for a SG.
Weaknesses-Not a very good defender. Lacks ideal size for a SG in the BBS. Definitely doesn't have the ball handling abilities to move to PG.
Potential Rookie Ratings....
C B+ C C C- A

I dont like how he has the same ratings as kapono korver and cook when imo he was a better and more hearlded college player

he looks pretty solid. Nice pick if he falls though his name will make him top 10.

What's wrong with his ratings?

i don't think there's anything inaccurate. the precident(sp?) has definitely been set with hamilton and redd's rookie ratings and this is more than fair. but who wants to wait for gordon to evolve, really?
on a side-note i think his d is a bit under rated, not just here but in general. he's decent, but inconsistent at times.

lol reminds me in uosl, guys were pissed Gordan was: C+ B C+ C+ C- B, especially his B potential. now look at him: Ben Gordon PG 31 6'3'' 200 B A A+ A C D 8 All-Star games 4 MVPs 3 Championships

The guys that are complaining are guys that have picks coming up. No biggie really, I like Gordons ratings and I think they are not only quite realistic, but in line with the leagues ratings. Once again, Im extremely happy with how low the ratings are after 5 years and Im not about to start jacking guys ratings up because of peer pressure. You want your players to be better? Write an article.

Or become an owner and just make Dwayne Wade come out in 2002 having not played a single minute of college ball that year and make him the best player in the draft!

Chris, I always intended for Melo, Lebron and Wade to come out in separate drafts and for them to be the top picks in their drafts. I think it wouldve been a waste for them all to be in the same draft.
This league has never promised, or stated that the drafts, or the players would mirror real life. One of the mistakes from the last BBS was that there was little or no flexibility in the Drafts. Whine all you want about Wade coming out in 01 but there was no reason for me not to bring him out then.

Ben Gordon's handles and defense have improve, and his ratings has jumped to C+ in both. Also, he is declaring with hopes of landing in Orlando. FYI!

Ben Gordon is leaning heavily towards returning to Connecticut for 1 more year.
