Does anyone know which teams did not submit FA bids this offseason?

Pretty obvious Utah was one, just curious to see who else didnt.
Sometimes I feel like I ask too much from GMs. I get to the point where I feel like Im managing people to get there work done, work being DCs, FA offers, trades. Its never ending. I want people to understand that at this point you owe it to not only me, but to all the other GMS to give BBS alot of time. You need to give it your attention or tell me when youre gonna be busy so I can take care of stuff for you.

Manas needs an Assistant pretty bad. NCF was very helpful to him.

Agreed.. but Manass hasn't done anything since NCF left, so for basically the past two seasons...ike you said he needs just that an Asst GM... but if the Asst GM is doing most if not all of the duties then what's the point right?

I agree on the Asst Gm thing. He has been less active while hes been rebuilding, and I can accept that. Most GMs are less active while they rebuild. I just dont get how he let this offseason pass without acquiring talent through FA. When you dont own your pick, and you have cap room how can you just ignore FA?

He could have his eye on this up coming free agent class. I don't know if he does or not but it's just a thought.

If he had a thought process behind it why not offer some big 1 yr deals to compete this year?

i never like doing that, but i think it's pretty obvious manas just didn't have major interest at the time anyway. the other thing is that he never really said "no bids" like milwaukee did(i think??) and we were trying to get all the bids in as usual to sim sooner. so i doubt there was thought behind it.

When Manas is around and involved he'll drop his "lols" throughout the messageboard, he hasn't done that of late or even in awhile so I really also doubt all he planned to do was wait until this off-season. With that being said Manas does deserve to stick around... but if he's not going to be active what's the point?

i don't think he should be fired unless he breaks the rules - that is - if in spencers opinion he fails to become competitive in x amount of time.

Thats the bottom line, he does deserve to stick around, but if he isn't participating then whats the point? We have guys that want to participate waiting.

was that why D2A was fired? I thought it was just due to inactivity?

was that why D2A was fired? I thought it was just due to inactivity? I told him I was gonna replace him 2 years ago because of a combination of inactivity and mediocrity. We compromised that if he made the playoffs last year, hed stick around. He failed, so I replaced him. 1998 - 38-44 1999 - 31-51 2000 - 35-47 2001 - 51-31 2002 - 35-47 2003 - 38-44 2004 - 32-50 2005 - 26-56 I am still of the opinion he got lucky in the original BBS with Magic and Blatche. He never did anything here, and was really never active enough to compete. Now the team is a complete mess which is am sure why Hype has done almost nothing so far.

We have guys that want to participate waiting. if he doesn't want to be here, then get someone who does. really you can not let someone stick around because they been here for so long, they either have to commit to staying here and being active, or just go and come back when they can participate.
