I bought the game yesterday. Seems pretty straightforward to run, but I haven't dug too deep into it. We should be able to post stats, standings, etc. to help give some substance to these unknown drafts. I didn't look too long at it, as I just simmed the first half of the season though. I'm not sure if I got a security code (which you'd need to split the cost). I never saw it given to me, but you're supposed to have 2 licenses. Did you look at the html part of it?

Also, Im guessing anyone who runs it would want it to have all teams computer run. Starting a college league would take quite a bit of time.

Yea, I think it would be a pain if you actually had coaches. I'm looking at doing the HTML output right now. Gotta figure out where the files go though lol. I'll probably sit down after supper and take a harder look at it.

Yea, I've simmed a couple seasons and output the HTML. I've checked out all the pages they give you with the output. You can see most of the important things, but the good ones appear to be the awards and the statistical leaders. Will need to look into uploading sometime, but as far as just flat out simming an entire season it doesn't appear to be too bad to get things output in HTML format.

Thats kinda what I wanted. Maybe a 3 sim season. 1 during FA maybe. 1 at the beginning of the BBS season. And then the final at the AS break. Thatll give me time to make sure we upload all the players to FBB.

The last BBS Draft will be 2011 I think. 2012 will be the College league with any players I missed possible coming in as FAs.

This needs to be figured out before Christmas probably. Id like to have a season run by then. I figure 2011 is the last draft as we know it.

Itd take alot of effort on my part. Im not against it, but there would need to be quite a lot of people who would want it. And wed probably have to start in the early 70s.

i'm not against if it's similar to the way we've done things... that is... players not automatically coming out in predictable years all the time. if it's mixed up then great.
the college idea is cooler, not sure when that'll get started up though.

college idea sounds pretty cool, but i do like the retro plan as well, either way it should be fun. If we went retro we should mix it up alot i think dont want things to happen like in the old bbs.

If we did retro, it would be mixed.
Scott owns the college game, so that is my first preference. He hasnt really had much time to post any progre4ss hes made, so Im getting concerned.

The College League would definately increase activity. It would give everyone something else to look at and comment on, which is why Id rather do the College league.

spence I could help you with drafts to get you real players thru 2020, if you'd like... I figured, but Id like to be different then UOSL and NBL. I feel all 3 are at about the same place. If all 3 of these leagues do the same thing essentially it could get boring. Thanks for the offer though.
