No doubt I can buy it...I would be able to help with running it, but it's doubtful I could be the main person involved. So yea, I can help Chris run it if that's how we decide to go.

well just so people know. I had college fbb (FBCB) and it is more complicated than FBB. So basically get like a month or so to get used to it before we starting using it in BBS.

I agree. I used it a while back and it definetly takes some getting use to. I'd reccomend toying with it for a while before we get stuck into it.
I don't have a problem with any of the guys who have put in offers to run the league, including the ex-Hornets GM.

I'll probably look into buying this over next weekend and see how it is.

I think I can do this. How hard will it be though?

Someone needs to buy the game ASAP so people can mess with the game and see how easy, or hard it is.

And it seems like a couple others could help out, so it wont have to be a one man job.

if i get this... 1. how do i get it to the person running the league? 2. will we actually go through with this?
will we have gms in the league or is this going to be completely computer run? krupinski had a great idea. he thinks we should let the assistants and waiting list candidates run teams. best team gets a spot in bbs.

Well, the thing is, youd have to import tactics and recruiting to have GMS in the college league, and that would require those Gms to own the game as well. So unless we get a crack, Im guessing we wont have a college league. The only alternatives to having a college league are using the defaul draft classes, or restarting.

Why not just do the same thing NBN does? Use real players that we've never heard of, and just do pre-draft notes on them and give some of their strengths/weaknesses.

Then just use fake players and do the pre-draft notes/strengths-weaknesses

I was gonna buy this last weekend, but our internet was down for most of the weekend so I actually think I'm gonna buy it this afternoon. I just want confirmation from Spence that we actually are gonna go through with this. If so, I'll buy it and see how it goes.

I bought the game yesterday. Seems pretty straightforward to run, but I haven't dug too deep into it. We should be able to post stats, standings, etc. to help give some substance to these unknown drafts. I didn't look too long at it, as I just simmed the first half of the season though. I'm not sure if I got a security code (which you'd need to split the cost). I never saw it given to me, but you're supposed to have 2 licenses.
