I just wanted to clarify it since some GMs seem to be worried about it.
The whole idea is that a team is successful more often then not. I want Gms to strive to be more then "just being in the league".
So, first off, youll always know if youre in the "Contract year". Your individual expectations will be known before the year starts. The expectations will not always be make the playoffs, or win 40 games, sometimes they will be to increase activity or to show signs of improvement.
I think this is frustrating to some people because it isnt a concrete idea, but really it cant be a concrete rule, it has to be a variable that allows for circumstance. Activity, personality, and longevity in the league all come into account.
Basically I want each team to have at least as many 40 win seasons as sub 40 win seasons. If you have strung together many playoff appearances, or 40+ seasons, you are safe.
If you have more sub 40 win seasons then plus 40 win seasons you need to strive to compete.
The Wait List is full, and I think that if need be I could get 3-5 new Gms quite quickly. That doesnt mean Im unhappy with any of the current Gms, because Im not, its just saying the BBS is a very competitive league, that needs your attention.
