I tried my best to make this team a winner to no result. I figured i would be given the chance after all that i have done the last 2 seasons to stay on and finish what im trying to do, but i guess not. I know that this is not BBS 1 but i had alot of sucess there and figured that would at least keep me around here since i have at least 1 championship, but again i guess not. BBS 1 sucess dosent really matter anyways i just have enjoyed the last 2 seasons doing what i could by scrapping and clawing to get a winning team back but could't. I have no interest in being an assistant i hate the fact that a newbie will take over my team when im active. So good luck to all you originals cause i have been fired by spence.

Im surprised youre as bitter as you are considering I told you at the end of last year youd need to make the playoffs, or show marked improvement to stay here. Last place aint gonna cut it. I should name a new MEM Gm by the end of the day.

It is a weird situation... he isnt tanking, but cant win... although that may be because he was tanking at some point...

This really isnt about tanking, its about not being active enough, or talented enough to win. We have Gms that want to be here that could put more time and effort in.
Also, this is gonna be the new age of the BBS. You need to win to stay in. If you lose, youre out. Its simple. its the next step of making the BBS the most competitive league around.

Can a GM that gets fired re-apply in the future?, or is he gone for good?

D2A was never a favorite around here but maybe he didnt make enough allies to keep him around or showed enough activity. good luck to him though.

I dont have a problem with D2A, and I suggested he stick around (as an Asst.), but he was against it. Id rather try and improve the GM quality, but Ill never be against a guy coming back if the desire is there.

well there are alot of teams not winning, i have the damm guys they just dont play well together, im active, been around for awhile and im just being thrown away cause im loosing. im on top of my team and there will be 13 other teams that are loosers too, i hate the fact of how active i really have been since last season when i was kinda laying in the weeds. all i want to do is keep my team and run it.

Couple things..... Youre in the weakest division by far. To not get 40 wins in the West, and specifically the midwest is pretty bad IMO. Your team was built pretty poorly going into this year. Poor defense, depending on alot of vets that all (except Allen) were worse then the year before. You were more active over the last 2 years, but where were you the previous 6? Youve had 1 year over 40 wins since the restart. You rarely get RCs. You never do articles. You cannot develop younger players because of it. You talk about your success in BBS, but you had 2 of the best players in the league in Magic and Blatche. You traded for Blatche, but you tanked and got Magic. I do have loyalty to original or long time BBS Gms, but I will always consider the betterment of the league over 1 GMs feelings. D2A you are a nice guy, but I think at certain points youve taken the BBS for granted, and let your team slip. Once you new it was a do or die situation, you still couldnt get it done.

Also, I think this league is the best sim on the net. Im completely biased, but I think it is. And I will try every day to make it better. Why even run this thing unless its the best, thats my sentiment. So, just so everyone knows, I expect full participation and full effort. I dont want you as Gms in this league to make a single transaction or trade "for the hell of it" Everyone needs to be a top quality GM in this league to stick around. Thats what the BBS is now.

im tanking in a couple years, cool? The more success you have over long periods of time, the more leeway you get. Think of it like the NBA. A team that is in the playoffs 6 or 7 years straight, that coach rarely gets fired. If youre mediocre over long periods of time, your chances of being fired grow.
