Bulls GM Krupinski had put together one of the best teams in BBS History that dominated the competition for the better half of the past decade. Setting the bar high for the rest of the league the league did a great job of catching up and some even surpassing the Bulls in talent. The Bulls GM was limited in what he could do in terms of continuing to build because of hard cap restrictions which forced the GM to be very crafty in constructing his bench with mostly 2nd round draft choices.
The Bulls seemed to be on auto pilot during the regular season for the past two seasons as the GM was spread too thin with his side project Johnny Jungle. Like he built the Bulls to success he worked feverishly on Johnny Jungle to build that into a successful entity. Johnny Jungle is off the ground but continues to be a major burden on Krupinski having to travel to NY twice a week and spending countless hours updating at the wee hours after he gets home from work.
"I started to lose interest in BBS with my team being so successful and not being able to make trades it got boring" Krupinski stated. "I put a lot of work into articles and into the Hall of Fame and no one in the league took either seriously which begged me to ask the question why should I put the effort in" Krupinski went on saying.
Maybe the fact that he only received two votes for the Hall of Fame after releasing the candidates and also introducing the idea of voting GM's into the Hall he expected more of an interest in the process.
He voiced this these feeling to Spencer and he said he would take over the reigns of the team for a while giving GM Krupinski a bit of space to think and hopefully regain interest in the league. Spence is one of the best at tearing down and rebuilding franchises stocking them up with picks and youth so GM Krupinski couldn't refuse the offer.
Spence and Dave have butted heads in the past quite a number of times. Dave compared Spence to Hitler while Spence calling Dave numerous derogatory names but one thing is they are both talented when it comes to BBS and the two together have formed an unbelievable Dream Team.
