Today marked a special day in the history of the BBS. It will go down as one of the most trigger-happy 24 hours ever witnessed by any GM involved in the BBS to date. Not only did we see superstars and legends of the game switch uniforms, however we saw the dismantlement of two franchises (Chicago and Golden State), the resurgence of several more (Sacramento, Seattle) and the improvement of two teams lacking in fire power of the last couple of years (Dallas and New Orleans).

Bulls Send
Nowitzki
Gomes
Nowitzki went cheaply, theres no doubt about that. Although the Bulls picked up Tayshaun Prince and a bunch of mediocre firsts in the deal, they managed to land Jarvis Crittenton, Tasmin Mitchell and Robin Lopez, all young stars who have a hopeful career ahead of them. It has been mentioned numerous times before, however cashing in on superstar veterans is difficult in the BBS, so kudo's to the Bulls on picking up some items of value for one.
On the flip side, San Antonio can now pair Dirk Nowitzki up with Shawn Marion, as well as Richard Jefferson, Roko Ukic and Channing Frye.

Bulls Send

I like this deal a lot more for the Bulls than I did the Nowitzki deal. They pick up a legitimate youngster in Conley. The Bulls also trade for a serviceable star to shop around in Lewis, as well as 1 decent and 1 mystery first round pick.
The Hawks try and come back from their hard cap woes by landing one of the leagues best players in Elton Brand. It was a smart move in my opinion as the fans in Atlanta will not settle for anything less than a winning season after several awful ones. A good trade on their behalf.

Pistons Send
Millicic
Belinelli
Koponen
Clippers Send
Davis
14 LAC 1st
2 RC's
As mentioned in the trade thread, LAC did not need to add in their 14 first and 2 RC's, so Detroit did a good job in exctracting a little more from the Lakers. I'm a fan of the trade, but not a fan of the player that they pick up in Baron Davis. Not that I don't love him, because I do however I have a problem with him playing the 2. I think the Pistons should have went after a SG or SF and let Chris Paul play the point. Nevertheless, Detroit pick up a superstar scorer who will yet again help the Pistons compete for the championship.
Meanwhile, the Clippers attain 3 young studs. I have high hopes for both Marco and Koponen so hopefully they pan out for LA.

Hornets Send
Daye
Nene
10 NOH 2nd
11 NOH 2nd
12 NOH 1st
Rockets Send
Johnson
New Orleans send away the 7th pick in the draft, a decent first and a really bad contract for Joe Johnson. I like the move for the Hornets and must say that it was a move that they needed to make. For the Rockets, I feel as though they should have picked up another first or another youngster in this deal. I don't feel as though Nene's contract is worth Daye in the end.

Bulls Send
Chandler
Ginobilli
Mitchell
Davis
Crittenton
Wolves Send
Ilgauskas
Outlaw
Brewer
Thomas
Dudley
10 MIN 1st
11 LAL 1st
12 DET 1st
Although those picks aren't great, Chicago get amazing value for Chandler and Ginobili. This trade is really one sided in favor of the Bulls here. They get a nice trading piece in Big Z, a decent enough youngster in Outlaw (I don't like him), Brewer, Tyrus Thomas and best of all, Al Jefferson.
I can see why the Wolves made it, but they could have given a bit less here. In saying that, they have one of the sickest starting line ups in the league.

Dallas Send

10 DET 1st
10 DAL 1st
Chicago Send
Lewis
Dallas pick up another star player here in Rashard Lewis however have to sacrafice their draft pick for it. It's worth it for both Dallas and Chicago as both teams get what they need. The Bulls are now loaded with picks and Dallas are loaded with slightly above average talent. It was definitely a day to remember for Bulls fans with this trade concluding their 4 blockbusters of the day.
They wind up with a handful of youngsters and a plethora of picks. Overall, great value for the Bulls.

Golden State Send
Duncan
Stevenson
Sacramento Send
Brezec
Traylor
Williams
Henderson
Kalnietis
11 SAC 1st
Like San Antonio and Atlanta before them, Sacramento make out like bandits here. They deal away 2 very large expirings, Louis Williams, two decent youngsters and their pick for the leagues best big man.
The Kings don't have much in terms of depth, but they sure do have the firepower to really contend this year which is exactly what they need to do.

Seattle Send
Korolev
Tomic
Batum
11 SEA 1st
Golden State Send
Bryant
Duncan gone. Kobe gone. And it's a new era in the BBS with the emergence of Seattle and Sacramento! I love Batum, so I'm going to be biased and say I love this trade for me even though Seattle definitely come out better. Korolev is a large expiring with potential, Tomic looks interesting and the Warriors get a pick to boot.
For Seattle, they give up their #2 draft choice, however attain the leagues best player and most potent scorer - need I say more.
