1. Indiana Pacers - OJ Mayo PG - The Pacers have already promised Mayo they will pick him if they land at number 1. Pacers Gm Duce McDucerton has recently been seen dating Mayos mom, so this pick is a virtual lock.
2. LA Lakers - Derrick Rose PG - The Lakers have been disappointed with Deron Williams slow development. The Rose pick doesn't necessarily mean Williams will be shipped out, but I wouldn't buy a Williams jersey if I were you.
3. Miami Heat - Michael Beasley PF - The Heat need a legit star big to team with Brandon Roy, and Michael Beasley is just that. Unfortunately for the Heat their biggest need, a big time defensive center (cough:::Thabeet:::cough) wont be had in this draft.
4. New Orleans Hornets - Eric Gordon SG - The Hornets get a legitimate #1 option type scorer in Eric Gordon at 4. Eric Gordon shouldn't disappoint the Hornets like Ben Gordon did.
5. Milwaukee Bucks - Darrell Arthur PF - The Bucks are having a great year, but see the need to continue to improve the the difficult Eastern Conference. In Arthur they upgrade their PF spot, giving them a dynamic set of forwards in Arthur and Bosh.
6. Minnesota Timberwolves - Al Horford PF - The Wolves lost some depth in the Al Jefferson trade, but get it back with 2 more lotto picks this year. Horford should step in at PF and form an impressive young power duo with Al Jefferson.
7. Philadelphia 76ers - Joakim Noah PF - The Sixers need a center pretty badly, and although Noah isn't a center, he'll have to do. Noah should start at PF sliding Shelden Williams to C.
8. San Antonio Spurs - Julian Wright SF - The Spurs continue to reload while maintaining their dominance of the Midwest. A player like Julian Wright should be a perfect fit for the Spurs. he can play up to 4 positions, and can handle well.
9. Atlanta Hawks - FORFEITED
10. Minnesota Timberwolves - Darren Collison PG - The Wolves grab their PG of the future here in Collison. Collison probably wont be a great scorer, but his defense should be elite. Collison and Outlaw should be amongst the top defenders at their positions for years to come.
11. Washington Wizards - Serge Ibaka PF - The Wizards need defense more then anything at this point. Ibaka is a bit of an unknown, but his shot blocking ability is rare, and he should get good minutes with the Wiz even as a rookie.
12. New Orleans - Spencer Hawes C - The Hornets like Nene and David Lee, but have been slightly disappointed by Nene's development. Hawes is a good young center who could develop into a solid starter in 5 years.
13. San Antonio Spurs Corey Brewer SF - - The Spurs come up big again adding a great defender in Brewer. Brewer should make Mickeal Pietrus expendable very soon.
