With the season just about 20 games old, could their be a repetive trend from last year?
The same likely sources are in the mix with a few surprises such as Cleveland and Atlanta. Detroit seems to be struggling for some reason, and the team has played inconsistently. I am not 100% sold on the consistentcy of the youngsters on the Cleveland Cavaliers squad, but I have been wrong before, chemistry is always key. Atlanta has several aging star bigs, which could be a cause of concern for injury down the road. Boston is very young as well, and is depending on Shaq to play injury free as well, just to compete for a playoff spot. Milwaukee runs a fast break offense, but can their Phoenix-Suns NBA like method work all year?
The former Western Champion Golden State Warriors seem to be struggling and today they got more bad news. A major injury occurred to the likes of Baron Davis, who was in many trade rumors. Is it time for the Warriors GM James to start the rebuilding process now, tear up the team and be a solid contender within a few years?
San Antonio looks to be a potential threat, but how much can they count on the youngster Ukic to come through in the clutch? But for the rest of this conference, many inconsistent teams.
Which brings us to, the Chicago Bulls. Defending BBS champions are looking very strong thusfar. It seems to be that the Chicago Bulls are running away with things yet again. They are allowing just under 90 ppg a night and scoring over 109 ppg a night. Brand is well a stud. Manu at the PG position, although I may say this a lot, was a great move on Krup's part. JJ continues to produce and Rasheed proves as a nice fiery option off the bench.
So it begs the question, is there another playoff run in the Bulls? Are the Bulls legit? Did the Bulls accomplish this the right way? Many questions, answers to be found out very soon.
