This Article will analyze 5 random players and if their future/current play, will lead them into the BBS Hall of Fame.
#1: Chris Paul
In: Already in his rookie year he put up a great year. He is only going to get better and makes his teammates better and the team would not win games without him. For a Sacramento team who needed a franchise player and not old veterans, Paul was a great addition.
#2: Elton Brand
In: No doubt this guy will be in when eligible for the HOF. He has putting up double double type numbers for years and years. This year he helped lead his team to an NBA Championship, the only thing that was lacking on his superb resume. He proves as a great inside force that defenses just can not seem to stop.
#3: Terell Brandon
Out: Although he continues to put up very nice statistics at an increased age, his teams have not performed very well. I do not believe he is HOF worthy because it seems that there is no chemistry between himself and his teammates. In addition, he does not make his teams better, and it seems every year the team that he is on struggles and can not even make the playoffs. We will see how things work out on Indiana next sim year.
#4: Alonzo Mourning
In: In his prime, he was a great addition to his teams. He proved to have a great inside scoring game and was intimidating for teams to score againsnt. He had a nice fieriness and fierceness to him which only elevated his game. Although he is up there in age, he can still block shots very well.
#5: Eddie Jones
Out: He is not worthy of a HOF vote. Although he has had many years of solid scoring, one-dimensional players do not seem to have huge impacts on team and can not make huge differences. If he would learn how to be more than one-dimensional, we might have a discussion in more depth about this.
