Kobe Bryant after demanding a trade out of LA was granted his wish when he was dealt to the Golden State. Kobe had numerous reports that his time in LA was finished and he wanted out to go to a new place. He will now be in the mean streets of Oakland playing with on of the best trio of guards the league has ever seen. Kobe All-Defensive first team guard will be paired with Tracy McGrady who was All-Defensive 2nd team. Each player averaged 2+ steals a game while also averaging a block a game a stat which they were the only two guards to accomplish that feat. Baron Davis will be the motor that will run this engine. The problem with this that these three are 75% of the warriors roster right now. Yes, that is correct the Warriors only have 4 players on their roster. So chances are this trio could be broken up but it would be a shame if they were.
On the other end the Lakers get one of the most promising PG's in the game in Deron Williams. Williams is the best thing that came from Oakland since Jason Kidd even though Williams is from Illinois. Williams will be joined with Emeka Okafor who will be playing for his 4th team in three seasons. Okafor is a proven Winner as he's won in the college ranks as well as on the professional level. The Lakers really cashed in for Bryant and really change the face of their franchise. This means that Steve Nash's time in LA is probably over and the Lakers will be shopping his services elsewhere. The Lakers totally rebuilt their franchise while managing to build an empire in the process.

The Lakers are looking really nice despite Bryant being gone.
Deron - some guy - Diaw - Stoudemire - Okafor
On another note, I wonder if I'll ever catch you in posts...
