20 - Cleveland Cavaliers (15-22) -
Excellent at not making 3 pointers, shooting a remarkably poor 36.6%. Coincidentally, opposing teams are shooting 43% from downtown against them. Perimeter play, on both sides of the ball, is sub-par.
21 - New Jersey Nets (14-21) -
They actually get to the line a decent amount, unfortunately they have no idea what to do once they get there, as they are shooting below 69% from the charity stripe. Another team that would prefer not to defend the 3 pt arc. Giving up a league worst 43.3% from downtown.
22 - Minnesota Timberwolves (14-25) -
One of the lower scoring squads around. Struggle with the concept of "passing". Shooting a putrid 42.7% from the field. They are even worse from 3pt land, hitting at a 35.4% clip from beyond the arc. Surprisingly good at defending against the trey.
23 - Boston Celtics (15-27) -
The opposite of solid on the glass, even with the man-child in the middle. 43% from the floor, 37% from downtown. Yes, those are team stats. Opponents are shooting 46.6% against. Not good.
24 - Portland Trailblazers (12-22) -
Have no idea what a blocked shot looks like, well, moving away from their faces. Force a league low 12.7 TO's. Which basically means they think defence is a town somewhere in Europe.
25 - Memphis Grizzlies (13-25) -
Terrible on the boards. Might want to invest in some shot blocking at some point. Prefer chucking threes rather than attacking the basket. Sadly, they don't do either well. But hey, Eva sure looks good.
26 - Sacramento Kings (11-23) -
Tanking faster than Enron. Giving up 104.3 ppg. Management believes they are overdue for the top pick in the draft. The top pick in the draft hopes he'll make the playoffs before his 30th birthday.
27 - Utah Jazz (13-26) -
Not the worst shooting team, but close. Not the worst defensive team, but close. So close, yet so far. Doh.
28 - Denver Nuggets (11-24) -
Bron is a start.
29 - Philadelphia 76ers (6-27) -
Starting to make offseason plans.
